MPECABLE WORTH THE PRICE
Maximillian D on May 16, 2025
It was an amazing water park experience. Every slide was well-operated and fun. The children had a blast, and then we sang Happy Birthday, but they could not wait to go back in. Then we went to the light show where we saw the hotel had Starbucks and other chains to have dinner. IMPECABLE WORTH THE PRICE
The nicest hotel in Nashville
Taylor W (Orlando, Florida) on May 12, 2025
This hotel is worth a visit all on its own because of how beautiful it is. There are literally four different atriums that all have guestrooms and things to do. There is even a boat ride too. I recommend the burger place or the Jack Daniels restaurant
Good Property for Business, but Wear Walking Shoes!
Anthony O (Jeffersonville, Indiana) on May 08, 2025
I stayed at the Opryland for a conference and found the hotel adequate for my needs for a conference. You will find the property is HUGE, so wear your walking shoes. The Opryland is one of the older Gaylord properties, so the guest rooms are not the same quality as the other Gaylord resorts. The rooms need a refresh as their age is showing. However, the rooms are clean. Despite the property size, the amenities were all available and I did not “feel” any of the pains of a large property (such as understaffing) with one exception: the coffee shop. The line was always 10+ people with only one staff taking orders.
Massive and Unique Resort with Great Amenities and Location

The Gaylord Opryland Resort is truly a destination in itself. As a Marriott Bonvoy property, it’s perfect for travelers who want to earn or redeem points, which is always a plus for frequent guests of the brand. The first thing to know: this place is huge. So big, in fact, they hand you a map when you check in—and you’ll need it. With indoor gardens, water features, and winding walkways, it feels more like a small city than a hotel. That said, it’s beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of dining options scattered throughout the complex. Food Tip: Piasonos Pizza is a great, casual option—grab a slice or a full pie to enjoy in your room or next to the scenic indoor river. It’s an easy and tasty choice if you don’t want to sit down for a full meal. Parking can be a bit of a pain point: valet is $50, and self-parking is only $9 less. Honestly, save yourself the hassle and valet—because once you park, you’re still in for a good walk inside just to get to your room. One of the best perks of this location is its proximity to the Grand Ole Opry—just a 10-minute brisk walk from the front lobby. There’s also a shuttle available to the Opry Mills shopping center across the street (home to Dave & Buster’s and other familiar stops). For families: The SoundWaves water park is a fun indoor/outdoor feature that’s worth doing for a day. You can book it as part of a package when reserving your stay. It’s lively and entertaining, though one day was plenty for us. Overall, this is a unique resort-style hotel that offers a bit of everything: dining, entertainment, and proximity to major Nashville attractions. It's not the place for a quick in-and-out stay, but it’s perfect for a more immersive experience.
Wonderful Amenities

This place is beautiful and full of restaurants and activities. I didn't get an opportunity to see the rooms because I was there for business and didn't stay at the hotel. This place is great for recreation and business. This is a must see for the family!
