$240 in parking charges for 3 nights

Stephen G (Austin, Texas) on Jun 20, 2024

I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland for a business conference in June 2024. I was charged more than $40 per night for self parking by both the hotel and the third party vendor they use for parking. So that's more than $120 in parking fees for a 3 night stay that was charged twice, $240 total. When I call the hotel to complain, I was transferred to their 3rd party parking company who was entirely not helpful - did not send me a receipt as they said they would, told me to call back 10 days later. When I tried calling the hotel again to have them resolve it, they put me on hold, where I continue to wait as I write this review. I wasn't even pressing for a refund, just a receipt so that I can submit my expense report, and they could not accomplish that for me.

Gaylord Trap

Nana4lnza (Bonita Springs, Florida) on Jun 20, 2024

First impression was impressive! I said first …navigation is challenging . Even with the phone app I found it frustrating to find the Delta to see the fireworks at nite & boat ride at a cost. If you have large pockets this is for you. For the price no continental breakfast would of been nice. Parking is costl 40 included tax ..valet 50. The concierge neglected to tell us that the trolley hop off hop on avoids stops during designated hours for rush hour !! What !!’ Therefore we were unable to use our pay museum vourcher due to travel time back to facility. Taxis fees 30 plus tip Uber 24 …gotta rob a bank ?? now ..God bless those that can afford the stay especially with children. ??????..I’d rather stay closer to town by the honkey tonks … Will I be back No!
