Family reunion disaster

We are here now on a family reunion. From day one every thing went down hill. From waiting for room that we’re not cleaned when we got in For 2 years of planning with group sales , the rep was not a communicator , meaning you would email her and for weeks no answer. We would have to reach out to Mexico to get a response from her. The reservations for restaurants were made., but the seating for our family was not confirmed in the restaurants, so we sat all over each restaurant How do you have a family reunion but we can’t have our meals together. Last night we made reservations for MoMo and again we sat all over the place. We sat down at 6:30 and at 8pm we still did not get our meals My niece went to the manager to find out what was the hold up with the food , this man ( the manager) did not even look at her, he said rudely to go complain to PR ( public relations). That we did. Mr Mintor was the Manager on duty who writes things down but show s no empathy. He asks like he has no authority to make decisions so what’s the use of talking to h This is a diamond property that got a few family members join the hotels vacation on. As I write this they all will be cancelled. This has been the Worst experience I have ever had on a vacation. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone ! !! A bright light came over to us this morning by the name of NATANYA from the entertainment team so pleasant and absolutely made my day . Staff here had been good for the most part but upper management need revamping. Cherylann Chang

If there was a rating of negative -0. I would rate this resort that. We went to this resort because my sister in-law selected this resort for her wedding. Her wedding party was over 100 guest and most of them can agree with me. The bride was extremely disappointed and displeased with so much. From credit awards (she barely was awarded), to no spa appointment accommodation, to poor service and staffs bad attitudes. This resort was exhausting.... It started with us from Check-in. The staff was unprofessional having side conversations and laughing like mean girls. Majority of the staff, had attitudes and just very nasty. Front desk service sucks. You have to call twice and complain to get something done. The credit reward, makes no sense: gift shop there is a small section that accepts the credits, but you have to pay taxes for the items. There no tax in Jamaica airport or at souvenir shops but this resort you have to pay taxes. You can use the credits for spa but is so hard for accommodations/appointment. Room service request to remove food tray from room sucks. You have to call multiple times. House keeping comes to clean your room after 4pm, we leave for breakfast and pool or activities and have to come back to housekeeping cleaning your room in the late afternoon. Annoying! The buffet restaurant had water bugs/roaches by the food. Disgusting! Swim up bar was not stocked up with all liquors no type of premium liquor. Pool area staff/waiters walking around would take orders and not bring it. You ask them for anything and attitude. This is every first experience/interaction then they see you tip well and then they are accommodating. I left my shoes at the wedding ballroom and went to lost and found and of course they had nothing... Presentation was a OMG experience! is extremely forced too much pressure to be a member. Dont do it, is not worth being a member. Apprantly being and Elite member gets better treatment as i was told by the fincial advisor for the presentation. We went through 4 different people pressuring you to be a member. And once you say no, here we go again with the attitudes uughh.. They can accommodate quickly for presentation but, no other services.. Overall, don't go to this resort.. Good luck if you do.
