IHG-Hurricane Milton is barreling towards Florida!!!!! Those of us evacuating who made these reservations days ago, had no way of knowing Milton will hit Orlando at checkout time (10am) on Thursday. Those of us asking for an extra day (paying for it. NOT asking for a free stay) are told WE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE HOTEL DURING HURRICANE HIT. Who is checking in at 10am Thursday when the hurricane reaches Orlando. Shame on you. No one is asking for a free extra night or two. Tons of people in sane situation. Other hotels are doing this seamlessly. Don’t hands a piece of paper that says you care about our safety. The desk clerk literally said we would have to go into the parking lot. In the wind? To die in our cars??? Appalling.
