Overpriced Omni

This is a beautiful resort situated in close proximity to various attractions. The rooms are clean and unimpressive otherwise. They are somewhat small. There is a coffee maker and refrigerator. There is no microwave of course because they'd rather you pay for the over priced room service with a ridiculous 21 percent service charge! The amenities are good. They have 2 main pools that include an adults only pool and hot tub. There is a lazy river and wave pool with rafts included. There is mini golf and a fully equipped fitness center as well as a walking/ jogging trail. There are 3 restaurants on site but they are all overpriced and mediocre. It was nice that the Italian restaurant, Trevi, provided a complimentary pizza making for the kids one day while we were there. There are better places to eat within a 15 to 20 minute walk. There is also a small deli/ bakery/ coffee shop, but like I said, you can walk to the nearby Dunkin and burn off the calories from your donut while getting some fresh air and vitamin D. Self parking is a whopping 30 bucks a day! I don't even know how much valet was. There is also a spa on site, but of course, that's over priced as well. The only reason I stayed here was for a medical conference. Otherwise, there are nicer, more reasonably priced hotels in the Orlando area.
