We stayed at this hotel in November 25 for 2 weeks. The hotel seriously lacks security, we had our car broken into 1 week into the holiday whilst parked on their car park along with over 10 other vehicles, for which we were paying $26 plus tax per night. The head of security's first response was nothing to do with him as he wasn't on duty, he could phone the police if we wanted or we could do it ourselves. We asked him to phone the police who arrived very quickly and helped sort a case number for the car insurance. We got no help whatsoever from any of the staff at Endless Summer, there was glass all inside the car that we then had to drive to the rental company to swap , no offer of any means to clean this up, there was no apology from anyone at Endless Summer there was no check up to see if we were ok and managed to sort the car, no follow up at all. The worrying thing was, that security admitted that there was no CCTV in the dark parking garages and security was minimal around the hotel car park, this was apparently due to the hotel having good links with the local police, yet over 10 vehicles still got broken into with no CCTV evidence. The week before the incident car park barriers were left up regularly and if you did need to press the button to get in, barriers were opened with no questions asked, locks on the pedestrian security gates were also broken. For 2 days following the incident security was increased, with cars parked around the car park, this didnt last long though. When we left I asked if I could make a formal complaint and was told there wasn't any process, but I could speak to a Supervisor, whose first response was it wasn't anything to do with her as she wasn't on duty at the time, I tried to speak with a Manager but was told due to the holiday season things were behind. I had to insist on getting contact details for a manager in order to e-mail a complaint. If you value the safety of your family and your possessions then I would avoid this hotel as security was practically non existent and staff were more interested in covering their own backs than offering even the most basic help to their paying guests.

Amazing hotel!!! Lovely staff, beautiful rooms and really modern and nice lobby. Has a huge food court type thing with so many different options, Starbucks, big gift shop and so many other good amenities. The shuttles to Universal come between 7am-1am and are every 15 minutes, everyone we came into contact there with were so so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Walls are very thin I will say that, but otherwise can’t fault it!
