Lovely resort in scottsdale

We stayed in July 2024, in a signature view cascita as a family of 4. The resort is really nice, whilst the map looks quite large, it is easy to navigate around. The rooms are large, clean and with soft bedding. The main pool is lovely and a god send in the very hot weather of the summer. Despite having a family of 4 and being a marriott bonvoy platinum member, they only offer 3 wifi devices per room. I've not come across this before which is quite frustrating and not what you expect for the value paid. Aside from this, everything else was excellent and we would definitely return! Tip: Waymo collects in the resort and is cheaper and more reliable than Uber. Give it a go, we used a lot!

I only stayed at the Camelback because friends wanted to meet there. The price per night was ridiculous considering the age and amenities of the property. It is a "resort spa" but you pay an additional "resort fee" on top of the very expensive room charge. All spa services, such as facials and massages are an additional, inflated cost. They have a gym of sorts for working out, but it is not a well-equipped gym and it is very small, tucked behind the large pool. The food is only average. Rooms are spacious but not really distinctive, but I have stayed all over the world at beautiful hotels that charge considerably less. Unless your idea of a great vacation is sitting around a pool and getting 'free' prickly pear margaritas in plastic cups I would skip this place. There is nothing really extraordinary about this hotel other than the price.
