Best Lunch at Rita’s Bar on the Terrace
tedb548 (Toronto) on Jan 12, 2025
Nowhere will you find Rita’s online at JW Marriott’s Camelback Inn, but off the bar on the terrace is Rita’s Kitchen which is great for lunch/brunch and the food is definitely worth writing about. The Chicken Tortilla Soup, Chopped Salad and Quesadilla are all worth the trip there. I’ve stopped in for lunches and dinners many times over 20 years and have never been disappointed.
Family resort — not a luxury retreat
Culture54438511237 (Wilmington, Delaware) on Jan 01, 2025
Beautiful grounds. Stellar staff — gracious and thoughtful and well trained. Pool is ridiculously small for a family resort. The rooms are just meh and could be updated , especially the bathroom. The rooms are not what you would expect from the JW brand No nespresso machine. Cheap generic coffee for the keurig. Coffee pods, tea, and creamers are apparently rationed. Cheap patio furniture. 5 star staff. 5 star grounds. 3 star rooms. As charming as the common spaces are (and they really are special) this is not a luxury resort. It is a comfortable family resort, which is great if that is what you need. I would have chosen somewhere else for a relaxing quiet vacation.
