Classic hotel with beautiful southwestern landscaping

ShontM (Seattle, Washington) on Feb 23, 2024

Classic hotel with beautiful southwest grounds and charming casitas. We were upgraded to a deluxe casita with wood beam and plaster constructions and lovely wood French doors. Nestled between Camelback and another smaller hill. Good service.

An awful experience

Kevin D on Feb 20, 2024

Terrible experience. Was in a room off the Garden area; a King suite they assured was quiet and serene. Yet, every night at Rita’s(their restaurant), they had loud music until 9am; then had several events also in the garden area, and in Mummy Mountain, with loud speakers and MCs for large group events yelling frequently. When I called the front desk to complain, several nights in a row, no accommodation of any sort was offered. I also booked a tee time at their golf course, Ambiente, which was in such poor shape it was a goat ranch. They did refund the $600 we paid to play there, but it took several calls. If this is Mr. Marriott’s favorite resort as they claim, he should be ashamed. I will never stay here again. Awful time. No rest no peace.
