You get exactly what you pay for

I’ll start off by addressing the title; we booked this on a budget and did not come here expecting to receive luxury. For the price it was good enough but I probably would not return again. The food was basically the same every single day so we just found 1-2 items that we liked and avoided everything else because it was just really not good. One thing I will say I appreciated SO MUCH was the cleanliness of our room, housekeeping did an absolutely lovely job everyday and I found everywhere around the resort to be super clean which is something I appreciate very much. The service was okay, some people nice some not so nice after finding out you don’t wanna spend $$ on extra services but that’s ok. One last thing I will address is this hotel is extremely popular among locals who purchase day passes and people come off from cruises to explore for the day, especially the weekends get crazy. If this is not something you want then automatically go somewhere else because you will not enjoy your time. I am not one to speak on locals buying day passes because I am visiting their country not the other way around but this is not everyone’s cup of tea and especially the men can make you feel very uncomfortable with their staring. Of course men of all cultures stare but here it was a serious problem. If you’re looking to stay at a resort with other Americans or Canadians then just don’t come here as it was probably closer to 50% foreigners 50% locals and even more locals on weekends.

This is my third visit here and is luke warm this time. Overall it is a decent resort however showing signs of age. The ceiling in our bathroom was drooping to the point it rested on the top of the door. The overall feel is getting dated. Also as nice as the people are the service is not up to par. Room service is a fancy term that does not deliver, literally. Overall our experience was average, nothing overly too bad about the resort just not that next level experience.
