Too loud. Not for families.

Our room was located right outside the concert area, which we were not aware of a Michael Jackson tribute band going on. It was extremely loud and my young family was not able to get to sleep until around midnight. The staff told us it was only a 30 minute concert and it lasted over an hour. We had a horrible travel day leading to the exhaustion. We were told we couldn’t switch rooms. Honestly the stay wasn’t that bad but this ruined it for us.
They have some (a lot) of work to do.....

FIRST let me say, the omelet lady was amazing..... The food on the other hand was pretty awful, and frankly misrepresented on what is available. Very little selection, and always repeated. I only saw Guacamole once while there for 10 days, and it was full of honeydew melon. Same color I guess.. Now I will share we didn't eat lunch at the resort more than we had too.... As with many places, the birds are an issue, but nothing is done really and they are walking all over the food. Not so hygienic. We ended up in 3 different rooms, 1st room, the whole glass shower door smashed while my partner was in the shower, and he has very bad eye sight without glasses. Thankfully I was in the room to help get him something to put on his feet so he could get out. Resort staff really didn't seem to care. We were moved to a different room, but the a/c did not work properly and by 9:30am it was 25 degrees in the room. The third room was better temperature regulated, but looked over a pile of garbage. ~Garden view?? I totally get staging photos for adds, but..... WestJet, I expected better, but alas, it's all about the profit. Mexico was still amazing and I can't wait to go back again next year.
