This hotel seems nice. However they checked me in on the wrong side. I was supposed to be on in the building just south of this location which is called Buganvilla, Different style and address. The hotel we got placed in had a million children and whatever the entertainment was on the day we were there was obnoxious. The DJ was playing the same songs over and over while someone was yelling into a mic. My husband said it felt like Mexican Chucky Cheese. Also the shower water in the rooms was all over the place in temperature. Would not return or recommend this place.
First time at Buganvillas

We spent a week here and this is an honest review. We have been coming to PV for 19 years staying at various RCI properties. As usual, we were put in a sub standard room because good rooms are saves for owners. After begging, offering to pay, we were told that the only way to upgrade from our view of the street and gross public beach, was to attend the timeshare presentation the next morning. We did and still had to fight for the upgrade. We were finally moved to room 2352 and it was really nice with a balcony and full ocean view. We ate at the resort quite a bit because we got sick eating in town the second night. Again, the first time in 19 years. The food was fine, nothing to have about. The front desk staff was not the nicest but the servers in the beach and at the pools were great! Shout out to Mariano, he was amazing ?? The least favorite part for us was the beach. Extremely rocky!! Not good for swimming or walking. Major bummer. We bought water shoes and walked down to Los Tulles beach and swam there. We probably won’t be coming back as there are so many other resorts with nice beaches and rooms.
