A gem in PV!

SFNica (Oakland, California) on Sep 28, 2024

I had never stayed at a small, boutique-style all-inclusive resort before, but after this incredible experience, I think it’s the only way I’ll travel from now on! Villa Premiere offers quality over quantity. While they don’t have 20 different restaurants on-site, the two they do have are exceptional. The outdoor restaurant, in particular, was so fantastic that I didn’t feel the need to look elsewhere for dining. The rooms were wonderful—spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning ocean views in every single one. However, what truly set Villa Premiere apart was the staff. They were genuinely amazing individuals who seemed to have a true passion for making our stay unforgettable. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Sharon, who coordinated our group reservation and was always available to assist us, and Enrique, who took great care of us at the pool and beach, always greeting us with a warm smile. If you’re planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta in September, I’d recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast. During our stay, the humidity did get intense at times, but the comfort of our room—complete with blissful air conditioning and a good selection of TV channels—made staying in an enjoyable option. Regarding dining, as I mentioned earlier, Villa Premiere has two main restaurants: one indoor and one outdoor. I can’t recommend the outdoor restaurant enough! The food was phenomenal, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. While the indoor restaurant is a nice alternative for particularly muggy evenings, I found it lacked the same level of charm. I’d love to see them allow ordering from the outdoor menu when dining indoors. Next door is Villa Premiere’s sister property, which is family-friendly. I was relieved to find that we couldn’t hear any noise from there during our stay, but our bracelets did grant us access to their amenities, activities, and restaurants if we chose to explore (which we didn’t). On our last night, due to a scheduling conflict, we ended up staying at a much larger, adults-only resort. That night confirmed what I had already felt: Villa Premiere was absolutely the right choice. At the other resort, the service felt impersonal, and the atmosphere lacked the warmth we experienced at Villa Premiere, where the staff clearly love what they do and know how to make guests feel special. I can’t recommend Villa Premiere highly enough. I’m already looking forward to returning, and hopefully, I’ll cross paths with some of you reading this review on a future visit!

Perfect getaway

This was our second time at Villa Premiere. We love the all-adult hotel that we first stayed at for a wedding back in 2004. Villa Premiere is a beautiful modern property that is located at the beginning of old town Puerto Vallarta. Rooms have nice modern decor, balconies facing the ocean, comfortable mattresses and your own choice of pillows to suit your comfort. Check in was personal with a cool drink and towel. We were given a wrist band that was also our digital room key. No worry in forgetting your key with that. We did not use the all- inclusive plan as we wanted to try many different restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. Our luggage was delivered quickly to our room. The maid service and turn down service was perfection. The two beautiful pools have nice lounge chairs with towel and bartender service. They have two swinging beds around the largest pool. This hotel is on the beach. We were able to walk to some of the restaurants where we wanted to eat in Old Town Vallarta. We also were able to easily catch a taxi at the entrance of Villa Premiere with the doorman. We would recommend Villa Premiere to anyone wanting a nice, quiet luxurious vacation stay in Puerto Vallarta. We think that it is a five star property for downtown Puerto Vallarta. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Lack luster experience

Sizzlessiz (Atlanta, Georgia) on Sep 26, 2024

Had to have Maintence come everyday to fix a simple problem with the door lock not working we asked everyday and they came everyday saw the lock wasn’t not responding and still didn’t simple change the batteries till the last day of our trip. Imagine standing outside your door 5-10 minutes trying to get into your room when you’re hot and possibly rushing to the bathroom at the same time. Also the A/C wasn’t working properly and Maintence came but never fixed the issues. The rooms definitely need to be updated and don’t waste you money on an oven front jacuzzi room they are all ocean front rooms save your money m.

Supreme service, gorgeous views/beach/pool, and comfy beds!

Leigh B (San Francisco, California) on Sep 25, 2024

Beautifully appointed and managed property, with a wonderful staff. The honeymoon suites are spectacular, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the pillow bar is the delightful perk! To name just a few, we received wonderful service and help from Veronica, Paul, Noel, Enrique, Frida, and Alberto. What a beautiful place, away from the big crowds. A truly boutique experience because you have regular interaction with staff members who get to know you and go the extra mile. Breakfast is superb at the al fresco restaurant, and it’s great that it’s served until noon!

Fantastic Boutique Hotel

Wow! What a wonderful hotel! The food at this hotel was fantastic at every meal! The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Loved the little massage upon arrival. It's a perfect hotel if you want to be close walking distance to the Malecon & Boardwalk (shopping & dining area - old town), and since the hotel only has 80 rooms, it never feels crowded. Although they only have 2 restaurants (which are fantastic!) we were able to eat at their sister hotel - Grand Buenaventura Hotel - next door and the food was great there as well. You get to choose the scent for your room (we had Amber & Ginger and loved it!), and you get to pick they type and number of pillows you want. Bar service at the beach was first rate! Every single room has a stunning view of the ocean! I would stay here again, and again, and again!
