We had amazing time. Resort is very nice. We had large, clean room, no issue at all. Food was ok as well. My daughter is fussy eater but she always find something to eat. I loved every single food I tried. Staff always smile and happy to help. Entertainment is on a complete different level to other entertainment teams we have met. These guys are amazing. Always full of energy from early morning till very late night. I don't understand where they get their energy from. We really loved them. My daughter is dancer so she joined them for every single dance class, zumba class and aqua aerobic. She loved evening parties as they allowed her to dance with them. They also celebrate her birthday with her which was the cherry on the top. She was over the moon. And I can say they have made our holiday the best. I always say I never go to the same hotel as I love going to different places but I will definitely come back to this resort again in the future.

This was our first time in the Dominican and it was amazing the hotel and the rooms is just what you need. The restaurants and main buffet all have lovely food. The beach and pools are all clean with plenty of room. There is some form of entertainment on everyday around the main area. The WiFi coverage is amazing we had connection every part of the resort! There isn’t a lot of English speaking mainly Spanish, French and Italian. The staff are helpful however you will get pestered by reps to attend a seminar to become a Wyndham member to get discounts on next holiday we never attended but got bugged every single day. We went on a boat trip to the sona island which was another Wyndham hotel I believe and when you stop off there for food you will be glad you’re at the dominicus beach hotel instead of that one. Amazing honeymoon holiday overall!

I suppose you could find fault in anything if you really wanted to, but I'd be careful of putting too much stock in those reviews that do. The main complaints we read about this hotel prior to visiting were the food, and that staff were rude to English tourists and spoke no English. They are big worries, but we found the exact opposite to be true. First, the food. We tried both Buffets, the Mexican a la carte, the Latin a la carte, the Mediterranean a la carte, the Pizzeria, and the snack bar. The food ranged from perfectly fine to really quite excellent. We have young kids who aren't the most adventurous, and they liked it too. Regarding the staff and English, the only rudeness I saw was very much coming from the tourists. The staff spoke plenty of English and I had plenty of good service. It really does help if you attempt to speak some Spanish, even if it is just please and thank you, but if you're polite, you'll be fine. As for the rest, the pools were great, the beach is great, the drinks were great. We stayed in a Bungalow and that was great. The entertainment like the food ranged from perfectly fine to really quite excellent. Highlights for us was the Greatest Showman Show, and then a late night outdoor party around the main pool area. On the entertainment, it seemed like every other day the hotel was completely rethemed and decorated for some sort of party, there was a lot of effort put into it.

We stayed at Domincus Beach from 12 April until 26 April 2024 . When we arrived we were shown to our garden view bungalow which was lovely and quiet and the room was spacious and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big and had a large walk-in shower with complimentary shower gel and hair shampoo with conditioner. The room was cleaned every day, and we had fresh towels every day. The buffet restaurant had a wide choice of food and was refilled quickly. The bacon went fast in the morning, but there was lots on offer. And always fresh fruit available. The snack bar just outside had burgers and hot dogs and chips. And the pizza and pasta restaurant open all day and till late at night . We downloaded the app and tried 4 of the ala carte restaurants. I wasn't too keen on 25, but the Mexican and fusion were fantastic. Nelson at the mexican and Juan at the fusion were brilliant cheerful and friendly waiters . We also booked the extra special meal of surf and turf, which was steak and half a lobster. Wow, it was cooked to what we like and all tasted amazing. The beach was lovely, and the sea had tiny bits of seaweed, but you could see to the bottom of it and was warm. The infinity pool and pool by it were lovely and a bit quieter. The infinity pool had a smoothie and milkshake bar called tiki by it and wow freshly made in front of you. I can recommend the banana split milkshake and the pink coloda milkshake. We found all the staff helpful and friendly occasionally we had the language barrier problem but everyone was nice. We flew with Tui from the UK ???? and the rep at the hotel Jay was so helpful. And we booked 4 excursions through tui Beach towel also provided at this hotel. All you have to do it hand over the card you get when you check in and get a fresh towel every day
