We have stayed at Viva Dominicus Beach Resort before and had an amazing experience, which made us confident about returning. Unfortunately, this time has been extremely disappointing. We are placed in a very old, outdated ground floor room that was damp, musty, and full of ants and bugs. The room clearly hasn’t been renovated in a long time, and it feels neglected and uncomfortable — not what you expect from an all-inclusive resort. For a full week, we have been asking daily to change rooms, and every single day we were told to come back tomorrow. We were given empty promises with no follow-up, leaving us frustrated and feeling ignored. Another major issue is the customer service. On our previous visit, we were treated warmly, and the staff was accommodating. This time, the service feels completely centered around Spanish-speaking guests, particularly from Argentina. Communication in English or German was nearly impossible, and we felt overlooked because we don’t speak Spanish. Sadly, this experience has changed our opinion of the resort. We had fond memories and high hopes, but the decline in both facilities and customer service means we will think twice before returning — and we cannot recommend this resort until major improvements are made.

Calmest hotel I’ve been to, it was very relaxing, really good food and drinks. I loved the white party at night. The restaurants are great, everywhere is nice and clean, very good place if you’re trying to relax and get out of your routine, I’d love to go back.

Awesome experience at the flying trapeze setup!! The staff is fantastic, they are very kind and professional, the sport also is awesome and I had a lot of fun!! Everything is done with all due safety precautions, there's a boucy net above the ground and you will be strapped with cables for all the duration of the tricks. Also the staff will explain everything to you and they will follow you step by step. So there is no kind of age, physical shape or experience required to try this out, as long as you are above 4 years old. In just a few lessons I managed to make awesome tricks and had lots of fun! We enjoyed our time there and for sure we will go back. The Beach: amazing, very close to the rooms; plenty of lounge chairs; long walks by the shore. Lifeguards available at all times. No palapas but abundance of palm trees to provide shade. Few Bars very close to the beach! great drinks. The room: we had a Superior Suite, very large and comfortable. ocean and pool view; large balcony. Beds very comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels. No room service. The grounds: kept in pristine condition; beautiful flowers everywhere. Very clean all around. The restaurants: the food is excellent, very tasty; lots of variety; many a la carte restaurant to choose from; some included, some not. Better not mention the desserts selection, WOW!! hard to avoid trying all of them. Activities: played tennis every day; pickleball and paddle available. Indoor and outdoor Gym; all kinds of equipment. Zumba, yoga, dance classes, water aerobics. In general its a beautiful resort that offers a relaxing atmosphere and its great for any type of vacation.

Really good attenttion. Services is good and the people super nice. Buffet is really nice, a lot of options for restaurants. A lot of activities, like kayak, paddle surf. A varaety of pools to choose. And a lot of things to do for all the family.
