Exactly what we had hoped for!

alifour (Ontario) on Nov 29, 2024

We choose Zoetry hoping for a low key relaxing vacation and it was exactly what we got, but in so many ways it exceeded expectations. Shortly after the chaos of Punta Cana airport we were sitting in a beautiful restaurant with water fountains providing a relaxing backdrop. Our stay was all positives with the exception of the ocean which had lots of debris, however with the huge pools winding throughout the resort this was not a big issue. This problem is out with the control of the resort and they do clean the beach daily, so it was still great for sitting admiring the ocean views. The room was clean, very comfortable and we had a balcony with a great view down the length of one of the pools, where we had lunch on quite a few days. The grounds are tropical and well maintained and we enjoyed evening strolls from the restaurants with the subdued lighting on the pathways. The staff were incredibly cheerful and helpful and this came across as genuine and not mandated by management. I generally hesitate to recommend vacations, as we all have different likes etc, but if you are looking for a quiet, upscale resort with good food, then Zoetry is the place.

An awesome experience!!

Our visit to the Zoetry Agua Punta Cana was incredible! The resort is a comfortable size with wonderful amenities and the food was amazing! But the staff made the Zoetry special! Amada was our butler and she did an outstanding job … and even surprised us with a special anniversary table for dinner one night! Felipe, Fernando and Merlyn (sp?) made our dining experience so enjoyable! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Zoetry Agua Punta Cana is an all inclusive resort with a boutique hotel service standard!

If you are looking to relax and want to avoid massive resorts this is the place to be in the RD! I will share some details hopping this will help the reader to make an informed choice before booking. Concierge: each room is assigned to a designated concierge. We had Alejandro taking care of us for the whole stay. And this was the first time we really enjoyed having a concierge assisting us. He checked in with us daily and cared for every possible detail. We don’t like being high-maintenance and sometimes hold back during our stays at other hotels. But Alejandro does such a great jobs at what he does. that we felt absolutely comfortable to ask for his help. Zoetry could not have a better rep than Alejandro. Personalised service from staff: After a couple of days you will notice that the staff knows who you are. Knowing beforehand small details like your usual favourite drinks, food intolerances or even table preferences, makes you feel welcomed and at home. Food, Restaurants and Bars: The food was the highlight of our stay! Quality and service are gourmet quality from breakfast to dinner, including room service. A variety of healthy food and vegetarian options are also present at every menu. All meals are menu, including at breakfast. This means it will take a bit longer for each meal to be served. But the quality and freshness of each dish prepared just for you, Justin the wait. Again the staff does make de the difference. You will notice this hotel has managed to implement client attention culture. As it is impossible to mention all the names, I will at least mention Felipe, Merlyn, Leidy and Fernando from Indigo Restaurante, where we had breakfast and lunch daily. You are amazing! Thank you for caring for us during our stay! Room service: Room service is included. Service is quickly delivered and restaurant quality standards are maintained. Location: A 45 min drive from Punta Cana Airport, close to a Natural Park and sway from more touristic beach strands. Blessed with birds singing in the morning and sound of happy frogs in the evening. Structure and style: This is truly a small hotel and everything is just a short walk away. The architecture style is Caribbean, with predominantly wood elements in the upper walkways and in the rooms. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and extremely well taken care of. Entertainment: There is daily entertainment with gymnastics, water sports and different cultural and gastronomy activities, such as wine tasting or painting lessons. We must mention the kindness of Jason and Dalisy. Both of them extended daily invitation for us to engage in activities and evening entertainment. They always approached us with a warm smile and never being pushy. Beach: This hotel is in a long quiet beach strand, in the vicinity of a natural park. For us this a luxury in RD, when comparing to excessively exploited beaches. A river touches the see next to the hotel meaning that in the rainy season the beach water will not be as Caribbean blue as in Punta Cana. The long stretch of beach makes up for long walks. As there are no other nearby open hotels, it almost feels like a private beach. Rooms: We had a junior suite in upper floor. The room is beautiful with a huge living area. We had an amazing view over the gardens, from our big and comfortable terrace, looking over the mesmerising colours of sunrise and sundown. Mosquitos: I think this topic it worth mentioning since there have been so many other reviews complaining about the bugs. Yes there are mosquitos. But we have been several times in the Caribbean and it’s not worse than in other locations. This hotel is located next to a natural park. It’s nature’s doing. The ground are fumigated twice daily. You can also ask to have your room sprayed. At several locations of the hotel, as in the restaurants and lobby entrance, there is mosquito repellent made available for guests. I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone looking to rest, recover and energise!

Beautiful and Serene

Dozer51 (Greensboro, North Carolina) on Nov 26, 2024

The resort is laid back, beautiful and full of friendly attentive staff. We plan on going back in 2025. Our personal butler was Alejandro and he was extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions. I recommend the couples massage and horseback riding.

Amazing Vacation at Zoetry Agua Punta Cana

jodisR6684GW (Owen Sound, Canada) on Nov 23, 2024

We travelled to Zoetry Punta Cana Nov 15-22. It was our 2nd time staying there. Truly an amazing vacation once again! Alejandro was our butler this trip and he made everything go so smoothly. The food, drinks, beach, resort grounds, spacious, clean rooms are absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They are all fantastic and attentive to our needs. Like my previous review from April 2024, this resort is even better than a Sandals. It's quiet, relaxing, and everyone who works there makes you feel like family. I can't wait to return!
