Enjoyable stay in unique environment

Just returned from 11 nights at Catalonia Royal and throughly enjoyed our trip. Read a lot of reviews before we went and whilst the variation was striking one consistent theme was the staff who are excellent. Special mention to Quetzabel and Angie in La Palapa buffet restaurant. Those ladies are amazing remembering everyone’s names (and I mean everyone’s) and always having a smile on their face. You do not want to lose these two ladies so I hope you are paying them well. Other highlights are the beach which is absolutely stunning and the jungle in which the accommodation is set which is teaming with wildlife. Quite a few reviews say that this is not a 5 star resort. My reply would be that it’s not priced as a 5 star so what do they expect. We found the food and drink to be of reasonable quality, the rooms large and comfortable and the staff to be hard working and friendly. The beach and jungle environment make this resort unique amongst the others we have visited in Mexico and we will certainly be returning.

We really love Catalonia Tulum! The resort is amazing, food is delicious and the stuff is great, we love Paulina, Diego, Abraham, Eddie and Gonzalo! They have great volleyball team, also we had so much fun singing karaoke and playing other games. We come every year and it's always so much fun!??
