We had a great time at this resort with a large family group with small children! The room was newly renovated and always well cleaned. The selection of food at buffets was always great! We really enjoyed the beach buffet and tacos, the Japanese restaurant, and the outdoor evening seafood restaurant. Drinks and smoothies were great! The staff are so friendly and hardworking. Thank you to our concierge Fernando! We all loved the quiet pool because if feels like jungle all around you and makes for more shade a large percent of the day. Kids and grown ups loved the lazy river and the dolphin experience. My 3 yr old was delighted to kiss, shake a fin, hug etc the dolphins. The beach is fantastic for small children to be able to snorkel with fish in shallow calm water! And adults can enjoy snorkelling in the deeper water out past the rocks to see coral reef and even the occasional sting ray! We also really enjoyed walking south to crocodile lagoon for another really neat snorkelling experience with fish in the mangroves. One of the only downsides was that the kids splash pool and waterslides were closed (presumably for renovations?). That was an unexpected disappointment for the kids. Also it would be nice if some of the more kid friendly evening entertainment (The Lion King show and Circus show) was at an earlier hour... maybe 7pm instead of 9pm. Tip: It's an easy walk to the highway where you can take a collectivo (public transit) to Akumal, Tulum, or cenotes (Aktun Chen)

This resort has it all! Even during renovations, with half the resort closed, the service and amenities continue to be top-notch in every way. We loved the staff, and would like to specially thank Julio in Buffet Tulum, Iver Morales in Bar Bliss, and Liliana in the lobby bar. Many more people contributed to our fantastic vacation, but I didn’t catch all their names. The food was as delicious in the buffet as in the two restaurants we attended, the Mediterranean and Casa Alma. All the animals are a constant source of entertainment. The coatis, racoons and iguanas really livened up the pool areas, while the sereques tended towards the jungle and green areas. And of course, the odd glimpses of monkeys added so much joy! Along the resorts trails different birds serenaded our walks as well as added even more colour to the surroundings. And we can’t forget the little fish that swam around us in the smaller beach area on the site, as well as at the lagoon. A real highlight every day was the lazy river. So relaxing and so beautiful! If no one was waiting we often did multiple trips around. We absolutely loved it! We also used both available pools. The main one was lots of fun with the activities and music, and the quiet pool, surrounded by thick vegetation, really had a different atmosphere. We used both during different times of the day. Unless a person is very short or a child, it is possible to walk in the water all the way around. The water temperature was perfect for spending long periods of time, even just standing around and chatting. This was our third visit, and we already have plans to return next year. Thanks to everyone (even the other guests were lovely!) who contributed to our perfect holiday at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya!

This was our 3rd visit to this resort and even though half of it was under renovations it did not disappoint. Our room was large, kept clean by housekeeping, with good A/C, shower and a comfy bed. The food at the A la Carts and the buffet was enjoyed by everyone. We booked the A La Carts through our concierge without any problem. We enjoyed the beach, the wildlife, the pools, the beautiful trails throughout the resort, the lagoon, the swim up bar and beach bars during the day and the lobby bar and sky bar at night. One of the activities that we really have enjoyed with each visit has been the lazy river. One thing that we noticed this time is that many of the clear comfortable tubes have been replaced with very large less comfortable black tubes. My only hope is that when we come back next year, the management team will have more of the clear tubes for our fun lazy river experiences. We will be returning to this resort, which has become our favourite resort in the Mayan Riviera.

Cecilio was amazing— so entertaining and engaging! I loved the bike tour and would highly recommend with him:)) Saw so many great things and learned so much.

Im not a huge fan of the appetizers but the main meal and dessert were esqisite. I got the catch of the day which was the grouper and it was amazing. For dessert I got the torrija Mia . It was a very pleasant surprise. The seared banna paired with taost and Ice cream was wonderful. The presentation of the whole meal was great. I highly recommend it.
