Fantastic hotel

jimn274 (London, United Kingdom) on Nov 24, 2025

?????????? A wonderful week at a beautiful hotel I stayed at The Marker Hotel for a week and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The management and staff couldn’t have been more helpful — warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property with a lovely Beaux Arts character. My room was comfortable, stylish, and a pleasure to return to each evening. Everything about my stay felt relaxed and welcoming. I’d gladly return and highly recommend The Marker to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Traditional yet modern hotel - great experience

Olivia R on Nov 21, 2025

The Marker has a luxurious yet traditional feel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a view of the surrounding area, near Union Square. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very high quality food with a great ambience, but quite expensive with the add on taxes. There was a very nice area by the fireplace with a great atmosphere. Although if you went immediately south or west out of the hotel (at night) there was quite a homeless / drug using population who seemed harmless but could be dodgy. At all times there were staff members / doormen outside of the hotel to help direct you so you felt completely safe. In the other direction immediately out of the hotel, there was a nice shopping area and square. There was a lot to do / restaurants within walking distance and we got a great feel of the city as first time visitors to SF.
