Active Advisories
The Royalton Saint Lucia and Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia have announced a phased renovation program beginning August 4, 2025, and continuing through to February 2026. All enhancements have been carefully scheduled in rotation to minimize disturbance and ensure that services, amenities, and the overall guest experience remain uninterrupted.
Guestrooms
A staged refresh of guestrooms will take place across both resorts, with work progressing in carefully planned phases.
Elevator Improvement Project – Update
The elevator enhancement initiative at Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort—featuring the full replacement of four elevator units—has been rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the resort’s control. The next phase will now occur January 5 to February 13, 2026.
During this period, guest movement will continue to function smoothly, supported by operational service elevators, escalators, and service stairs. Resort teams will be available to provide personalized assistance and accessibility support as needed.
Dining & Bars
With 8 dining venues and 9 bars across the two properties, all food and beverage outlets will remain open. Only one venue will undergo enhancements at any given time.
Common Areas
Updates to the Convention Center, Entertainment Theater, Diamond Club™ lounge terrace, and guest restrooms will be completed gradually, with no impact on daily services.
Outdoor Amenities
Enhancements to select outdoor areas—including the Hideaway beach zone, water sports desk, and pool cabanas—will be carried out in stages. Cabanas will be updated one at a time overnight, ensuring availability of remaining units. All pools and beach areas will remain fully accessible throughout.
The resorts will section off work areas and strive to minimize any impact to guests. All amenities and services not included in the renovation schedule will continue to operate as usual.

Do not go to Royalton St Lucia

Royalton St. Lucia is a definite no for anyone seeking a relaxing holiday. Service was consistently slow, and staff appeared disengaged and lacking basic awareness of both their responsibilities and guest experience. The property is poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. On arrival, my room was visibly dirty, there were particles on the floor, and the sinks and shower area were clearly unclean. Despite repeated requests, it took four days of escalation before housekeeping properly cleaned the room or delivered basic items. It was also common to find leftover plates in corridors and shared areas, often left unattended for long periods. This raised concerns not just about service standards, but about overall hygiene. The food quality was disappointing, and food hygiene was questionable (as shown in the attached photos). Entertainment was flat, uninspiring and far below expectations for a resort of this category. What made this experience particularly shocking is that I have previously stayed at Royalton Antigua and Royalton Montego Bay, both of which delivered impeccable service and high standards. In comparison, at best, Royalton St. Lucia is a low-budget hostel experience priced as luxury.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It's beautiful, clean, and fun. It has excellent customer service, a variety of entertainment activities, great teamwork from the entertainment staff, a fantastic showman named Leo who made us laugh a lot, good food, and beautiful views. It's the perfect place to create unforgettable memories!!!
