Active Advisories
The Royalton Saint Lucia and Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia have announced a phased renovation program beginning August 4, 2025, and continuing through to February 2026. All enhancements have been carefully scheduled in rotation to minimize disturbance and ensure that services, amenities, and the overall guest experience remain uninterrupted.
Guestrooms
A staged refresh of guestrooms will take place across both resorts, with work progressing in carefully planned phases.
Elevator Improvement Project – Update
The elevator enhancement initiative at Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort—featuring the full replacement of four elevator units—has been rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the resort’s control. The next phase will now occur January 5 to February 13, 2026.
During this period, guest movement will continue to function smoothly, supported by operational service elevators, escalators, and service stairs. Resort teams will be available to provide personalized assistance and accessibility support as needed.
Dining & Bars
With 8 dining venues and 9 bars across the two properties, all food and beverage outlets will remain open. Only one venue will undergo enhancements at any given time.
Common Areas
Updates to the Convention Center, Entertainment Theater, Diamond Club™ lounge terrace, and guest restrooms will be completed gradually, with no impact on daily services.
Outdoor Amenities
Enhancements to select outdoor areas—including the Hideaway beach zone, water sports desk, and pool cabanas—will be carried out in stages. Cabanas will be updated one at a time overnight, ensuring availability of remaining units. All pools and beach areas will remain fully accessible throughout.
The resorts will section off work areas and strive to minimize any impact to guests. All amenities and services not included in the renovation schedule will continue to operate as usual.

A little disappointing

We went to the Royalton St Lucia last November. I was hesitant about going there because of the tiered/club accommodations/experience. The resort was beautiful; it definitely met the 5-star level. The staff were excellent; the buffet à la carte station workers were very pleasant and accommodating and their food was spectacular, the bartenders and other restaurant staff were all very great, even the concierge were very accommodating to special needs. We had the unfortunate need to visit the medical facility due to an emergency and the on-site nurse and on-call doctor were just phenomenal. We had a great time and got to know a lot of the staff and enjoyed their hospitality and pleasant demeanor. There’s only one attitude to have during a vacation – a positive happy one! Although the resort itself appeared to be a five star, the experience that we had was more at a 3+level. There were definitely issues at this resort - I suspect executive/management issues were the cause as things just didn't operate as they should. For example, the resort was only half filled and on one of the days they ran out of beach towels by noon, on most of the other days the supply was limited in the afternoon and only available at some of the stations. The bar regularly ran out of the better local liquors and selection so you always had to substitute or change your drink option throughout the day. You could sense the bartender’s frustration in these situations as they were not allowed to get or request resupply, which points to a management issue. The buffet food quality was not that great. The meats were most likely procured, precooked, frozen and heated as needed to be served or tossed into sauces. They did have musicians and singers perform for about an hour before the main show which was really nice, unfortunately the main show itself lacked a lot of professionalism compared to other 5-star international resort chains. Originally, we were looking to go to Jamaica (Negril) which is where the Royalton was recommended. It could be that these issues we experienced are specific to the St Lucia resort, but now, it leaves us skeptical of vacationing at a Royalton in another location.

We love this resort as well,is real beautiful place a lot of things to do and sightseeing,a lot of excursions everywhere,to the mountains,to the waterfalls,to the forest and etc.The ocean is amazing,pool are wonderful,service is great,the persons are very kind from the front desk until the pool,the Vibes team is very active with good shows ( Dancer are very profesional ). Different activities every day at the mind pool,the new year was spectacular with the fireworks,singers and dancing,we really recommend the resort,Leo the showman was awesome !!!
