The resort is beautiful!! Service was awful!

The grounds at the resort are beautiful,but the service was awful. We were charged for services we did not receive. We were Diamond Club,but did not receive these services. The staff are not friendly or accommodating and act like when you ask them a question, you’re getting on their nerves. The rooms had a musty odor, the elevator was broken 2 days, which meant my sister could not walk up or down the 8 flight of stairs and the hotel said too bad. The bar ran out of drink mix for some drinks. Food was mediocre,however chef Stephen in the buffet was absolutely awesome!!!

The food was generally pretty bad. The buffet was the most edible. The TexMex and steak restaurants were the worst. Room service was equally bad. Lots of things were broken in the room and resort. Dividing door, safe, steam room at spa, some of the water features in the hydrotherapy room. We made requests to get various things resolved but there was little to no follow up. The service was spotty. At the buffet, the servers would take a drink order and never come back. The servers in the steak restaurant were short and unpleasant. The best thing about the trip was the Japanese restaurant. The chef was funny and entertaining plus the food was incredible.The pools were also really nice. Rufus at the front desk was also amazing. I would not recommend and I will not be back.
