A big hotel with views of falls from bedrooms

846GillM (Exeter, United Kingdom) on Apr 28, 2024

We had an incredible view of the Falls. I could lie in my bed watching them. The room was very comfortable and clean. We didn’t use the restaurants but there was a convenient Starbucks for a croissant one coffee. Coffee machine in room. It is a big hotel and lifts were often busy- there was a 1000 people congress on when we were there- but it was never dreadful. No complaints

Good stay since we had a Juliette balcony

Nicole M (New York City, New York) on Apr 27, 2024

The area: The area was great, right in the middle of the Clifton St attractions and a lot of eating and shopping options. There was also a quick indoor walk to the casino, the waterpark, and the self-park garage ($39 CAD + tax = $47/day). Being the end of April, it was pretty empty--we didn't have to wait for a table anywhere and there were no lines at the waterpark. Kids 13 and 17 enjoyed the waterpark, the bird aviary, the Speedway, and bowling and games at the Midway. Try a Beavertail on the Midway and poutine from The Canadian Burger Company by the casino. It was very convenient to have a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a store. The good about the room: We had a fallsview room with a Juliette balcony on the 7th floor and it was a wonderful view out of a full window wall. The room was clean, the water hot, and the shower had the best pressure we've ever had at a hotel. The bad about the room: There was a thermostat on the wall, but it did nothing. There was no air coming out of the vents, no matter the setting. It was very cold every night of our stay, but with 4 people in the room, by 2 am, we were all dripping in sweat. It as pretty suffocating and terrible. Luckily we had the Juliette balcony and could open the door for 5min and cool the room down. I did not complain to the desk as we decided we didn't want to move all of our stuff and we'd just periodically open the door. On the third day the weather got really nice and we just left the Juliette door open. Also, the room had a nice looking electric fireplace in the wall, but no remote or buttons to turn it on (not that we needed the heat, but it would have looked pretty). Additionally, we had a door adjoining our room and you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room next door through it. It was like we were sharing a room with another family.

Great Hotel & Club Lounge Experience!

T Z on Apr 20, 2024

We had an amazing time here at this hotel for a family vacation for 4 nights. The best was having the cub lounge access! Was super convenient and had plenty of food, snacks and drinks for our family of 4. Really have to thank Ivonne for being so helpful and making us feel at home. Was always great to see her. Ivonne was so nice, and was happy to help us with any food or other questions about our stay. Can't wait to visit and see her again at the club lounge. Would recommend this hotel for families as it's near everything kids would want.

Helpful Staff

Chastity D on Apr 17, 2024

The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The concierge was also very helpful in arranging transportation and tickets for attractions.

Perfect location to see and walk to the falls

William W (North Carolina ) on Apr 16, 2024

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Fallsview. The rooms had wonderful views of the Falls and it was easy to walk from the hotel to the River, including the area for the Boat Tour and other falls activities. The dining room / restaurant on the 13th floor has a great view and wonderful service. We especially appreciated the fine attention that Rosie and Iz gave us at each meal. Although is lots of activity around, the hotel rooms are relatively quiet at night.
