We paid nearly $500 for a one-night stay at the Sheraton Fallsview, and it was a complete disaster. Our room’s HVAC system was defective, blowing cold air all night despite being set to 30°C in April weather. ?I texted the front desk to report the issue and requested a space heater so we could at least sleep. The hotel completely ignored the request. We spent the entire night shivering in hoodies and extra blankets (blankets they did give us, thankfully). ?When I brought this to the front desk at checkout, the response was incredibly disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility, the agent attempted to blame us for "not calling maintenance" at midnight while my father was already asleep. They initially offered a meager $50 credit—less than what they charge for Valet Parking ($79). ?It took multiple escalations just to get a $100 credit, which doesn't even cover the parking and resort fees. To be charged full price for a room with no heat is unacceptable. They value their parking revenue more than their guests' basic comfort. Save your money and stay elsewhere where "hospitality" actually means something.

The Sheridan club is a must when booking your vacation at the Sheridan Niagara. It covers your breakfast and evening snacks.

A very happy Easter long weekend!

I especially appreciate that they offer easter activities for kids, it was like a resort get away experience for us! On Sat and Sun they had the eggs painting and movie, the staff there maintained the supplies so kids keep having new eggs and paper to colour on. They made a ribbon of balloons for photos, my kids loved it. On Sunday they offered brunch with the Easter bunny walking around and take photos with families, they made the Easter special. They also have a swimming pool that’s kids friendly with plenty of towels there, my room also have a jacuzzi. With all these activities inside the hotel the kids can enjoy without being in the cold and the adults can relax. We also enjoyed the lounge on UL floor. It’s tricky to get there as there are 2 sets of elevators, but then you just have to walk out of UL and you’ll find the door there. The lounge was smaller than expected, but it has everything I need and never crowded, it is more cozy and intimate. The staff Vesha there is very nice lady, she’s very helpful and attentive, we like her a lot! A special shout out to her customer service, even another lady I met at breakfast was very nice too. This lounge offered a nice quiet place to recharge in this buzzy area. Being a member it is included and I really appreciate this feature. Note that they serve hot breakfast on weekdays, and only continental breakfast on weekends. Also want to mention the front desk staff, Agnes and Veronica and other staff they are all very nice and helpful. They made an effort to let you know they care. There were small hiccups but they helped and fixed it fast. During my stay I used the messaging function on the Marriot app, it’s very convenient. The mobile key still need an improvement. Tips for eating, I tried the Mazzimo and BBQ Smokehouse there, really enjoyed the smokehouse ribs and brisket and fries, they are better than the rib fest food!! For Mazzimo, it's good with a standard, but the service is missing this time. Note that they charge LF on top of subtotal, and then add HST, so it's tax on top of tax, which I do not appreciate. Go a bit further to Coppacabana, they don't have LF tax, kids eat free on Sunday and there were salsa dance show too. Overall the room was very clean and modern, including the air ventilation, it wasn’t dusty and stuffy. The air was just dry. The sofa was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. We had quiet and comfortable sleeps. Down sides - The washroom really need to add a ventilation fan, it didn’t have one or not working in my room. The elevator, slow and busy most times, making being on high floor a pain. I would highly recommend this hotel, I want to make it a tradition to come back every Easter. :)
