Great Location; Room for improvement

wande (Atlanta, Georgia) on Jun 20, 2026

Reviewed today The location is excellent. You are within 5 minutes walk to the falls, and also a minute walk to Clifton Hills. For location, it's top tier. I stayed with my two kids ( 11 and 14) from June 6 to June 11. We got to the hotel around 1pm, and the man who checked us in was very nice. He even allowed us to check in right away without charging us a fee. We stayed in a falls view room on floor 16. The views from our room was great. You could see the fireworks at night. Not a true balcony as you can't even open the glass doors( understandably for safety reasons). On arrival at our room, it seemed like someone had laid on the bed. The sheets had wrinkles. When I asked for the house cleaner who cleaned my room (1658), she did acknowledge that it did seem wrinkled, but she assured me that it was because she had put pillows from the other bed ( 2 queen beds in the room and a sofa bed) on my bed when making the other bed. Later on, we found out the tissue box was empty. The handwash bottle had little soap in it. The shower gel bottle was so low that it wasn't enough for all three of us to shower the first night. This made me wonder if they even do a thorough job of cleaning the rooms before a new guest arrives or just a quick freshen up. This is the main reason that I gave this hotel 3 stars. Cleanliness and attention to detail matter to me when it comes to hotel rooms. Not long after check in, I got a text that said if there are any issues during my stay, I should use that number by texting them. I really liked this, and I did use it about 3 times. Each time, I texted, I got a response immediately, so that was great. Food is extremely expensive everywhere around the falls, including the hotel. Breakfast is about $39 CAD for anyone over 12 years old. 11 and under was half price. We had breakfast at the hotel 2 times during our stay. It's a buffet, and they do have a nice selection. The breakfast room is small though , which means one might have a 30 minutes wait. Breakfast opens at 8am. We had dinner at the hotel once, also a buffet. I thought the selection was nice enough. It's $55 CAD for 12 and over, and half price for kids. This adds up quickly when one stays for 5 nights. This is another reason I gave 3 stars. This hotel has a Starbucks, Circle K, a bar, an ice cream place called Sweet Jesus, and a deli/ salad place called Freshii on the lobby level. All 5 places were very expensive. A bottle of wine that cost me $7.99 back home in the US was $29.99 CAD. A bottle of water was $5 CAD. On top of that, add another 17% tax. Since we stayed right around the falls, every restaurant was expensive. On our last day, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge after checkout. That meant we didn't have to carry them about since our flight was much latter. Overall, a decent stay, but the room cleaning and stocking is subpar. By the way, they do "clean" the room daily in about 5 minutes.

Excellent place to stay for Niagara visit

SomeGirl111 (Austin, Texas) on Jun 19, 2026

This hotel is an an excellent location. The Falls view restaurant breakfast is great! It’s connected to an arcade, indoor water park, Hard Rock Cafe, Starbucks without even needing to go outside. The falls view room has fireworks and falls visible from right inside the room .. great stay for parents with small kids too! It’s walkable from the Niagara boat ride, Clifton street is right by the hotel However we had a leaky faucet and it took the maintenance guys hours to show up.

Right near everything. So much to see and do. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The view from the room was totally worth it. The buffets were incredible and the staff even made suggestions that were delicious.

Amazing hotel! location is prime! yes. You see American Falls view not Horseshoe. But location to Clifton Hill food. Gifts shops and so many activities can't be beat! Easily walkable to Horseshoe falls. And activities.

Perfect Family Getaway

kimber926 (Northeast Ohio) on Jun 11, 2026

For the past few years, we have stayed at a hotel near Table Rock. Due to renovations there this year, we decided to try this one. This will be our new “home” hotel. We had a corner suite with views of both falls. The room was enormous, the three Juliet balconies and one walk out balcony allowed for fresh air and the sound of the falls, land the bathroom was awesome. Taking a shower while viewing the falls was not on my BINGO card??. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The elevators had very short waits. The convenience of being near all kinds of restaurants (Hard Rock, food court, Rainforest, etc), the WEGO bus stops, and Clifton Hill is unmatched. The view of the fireworks from the balcony (or couch, bed, bathroom!) was perfect. We will never stay anywhere else.
