Ongoing disasters from bad communications

Disaster after disaster- Broken glass in the hallway outside our room. Restaurant closed when we arrived at 2am so had to buy a snack in the shop- bought porridge but got it to the room to find there was no kettle to heat water or a microwave to cook, ended up using hot water from the coffee maker in the room. Then we had breakfast in the wrong room so ended up being temporarily charged until they reversed it. Also found out that we were entitled to the lounge which meant we could have had food at 2am as well…. Other than all the endless miscommunications it was a comfy room and nicely appointed hotel. Although note that the prepaid breakfast is far more expensive than the one you could buy at the restaurant which also was heaps nicer with better choices over the buffet!!!

Fantastic location! Beautiful hotel, the park and fly option is our main reason for staying. Was pleasantly surprised by how up to date the hotel was. They acknowledged our Bonvoy membership and we actually felt surprised by the offer of a free dessert (value $15) for our loyalty. Nice! Room nicely decorated, and super quiet given how very close the airport was. Bed comfy, bathroom sparkling clean. The walkway to the airport shuttle train is steps away, and easy to find.
