I think they finally chased us off...

This review feels difficult (and maybe even a little painful) to write. That probably sounds silly, but after just returning from our 12th trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos since 2014, I’m left feeling more disappointed than I thought I could be. My family and I have been loyal patrons of this resort for over a decade. I’m an Emerald level Sandals Select member. So, this isn’t just a resort for us—it was our go-to place, a home away from home, filled with memories. But after this trip, I think we’ve finally hit our limit. If you read the review I wrote last year, you might think, “Well, you knew what to expect and still went back—so, that’s on you.” And that would absolutely be fair. But this year felt different, and not in a good way. After I shared my feedback on Tripadvisor last year, I was genuinely surprised to get a personal call from the general manager. It meant a lot that he took the time to speak with me. We had a good, honest conversation about what I believed to be the declining service and condition of the resort, and I felt like he truly heard me. He even gave me his direct email and asked me to reach out a couple of weeks before our next trip so he could help ensure we had a better experience. I did exactly that. I emailed him ahead of time just like he asked. He forwarded my note to his team. But once we arrived, it was honestly the worst of our 12 visits. From the moment we got there, I felt like we were almost being brushed aside. We were placed in what had to be one of the oldest rooms in the Caribbean Village, right next to the childcare center (daily noise and traffic) and backing the main road where it was loud every single night. The room itself was in rough shape—water damage on the ceiling, broken lights in the bathroom, scuffed-up floors, some peeling on the walls. I emailed the GM again once we were checked. but unlike last time, I didn’t hear a word back. From there, everything else played out almost exactly like the past couple of years—only now with a worse room. The pools were cloudy, with debris around the deck areas. I even swam into a half-eaten sandwich in the French pool. I think it's a well-established and common sentiment to anyone reading these reviews that the food isn’t really close to “5-star” quality. Even one of our long-time favorites, Soy, has taken a noticeable step down in quality and taste. About the only things we still enjoyed were the fish and chips from Cricketer’s Pub and pizza from Bella Napoli. Room service was just as frustrating as ever. Getting the drinks (apple juice and diet coke) we requested stocked in the fridge felt like pulling teeth. Their “GINA” app (really just a WhatsApp number) was mostly unhelpful. I still have unanswered messages sitting on my phone. Despite all this, the beach is still stunning. The grounds are beautiful. That part hasn’t changed. But I’ve started to realize that this may be the only thing Beaches feels they need to offer anymore. People will still come and pay top dollar just for those things, even if everything else is fading. Last year, I said we’d probably still return despite how much had changed, because of our family’s history with the place. My daughters were just 5 and 7 when we first brought them here. It used to feel like home. But this time it feels like the door might’ve finally closed for us. What made this trip harder to swallow was the hope I had going in—that personal follow-up from the GM, the promise of better service—and then nothing. It wasn’t just disappointing. It felt misleading.

Dont bother booking the Italian or Key West. Just stay at French and ask for an upgrade. I heard several families say this. One family even re-booked for November with doing this again. I think this seems like what people do? Wish I knew about this trick before my stay. Drinks are incredibly watered down and service is hit or miss.
Not worth the money. Parts of the resort need to be renovated and food options need to be better. Bring in local foods.

We stayed at the “French Village” and our room needed to be renovated. We also had a leak in the bathroom bc the upstairs had a busted pipe. The water has a smell. The food options were terrible. Rated 4/10. More for kids taste buds than adults. SOME of the staff were not happy to have us there. The entertainment group were the ONLY ones who kept our spirits up. The alcohol was very watered down and/or not top shelf. If it weren’t for the water slides and pool options for my son, we would not have stayed there. Not worth the $$$ we paid.
