The pool at the Occidental Arenas Blancas pool will be closed for maintenance from September 30 until October 10.
Guests will have access to use the main pool at Barceló Solymar and the Las Dunas pool (in the Bungalow area, just a few meters from the pool of Arenas Blancas) without any restrictions.
Although some noise may be heard, all efforts will be made to minimize guest impact during this time.

Occidental Arenas Blancas is a good place to stay. It is close to most local attractions. Public transportaion is easily accessible. Short walk to their beautiful beach and to their restautants. During our stay from September 12-19, the Buffet Restaurant's airconditioner was not working. Didn't mind it in the beginning because while enjoying eating their food, it felt like we were working out at the same time. Not only the clients were suffering from the heat, also their staffs. So, the buffet was set up at their cool nipa hut restaurant. Everybody was accomodating. We all had a good time.

we really like visiting Varadero specially the occidental Arenas Blancas. it is a place that has relaxing and wonderful views. it is good close to the city center. the food is good. Beautiful beach. people are very friendly, specially the girls at customers service and reception. without a doubt we would like to return
