Our stay at Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero this past December/New Year's was nothing short of incredible. This was our second visit, and somehow it managed to be even better than the first. There truly aren't enough words to describe how excellent the staff are. Norvi, Jose Mario, Carlos, Natalie, Alied—to name a few—made our experience unforgettable. What touched us most was that even though it had been two years since our last visit, we were remembered. Walking back through the Sanctuary lobby felt less like arriving at a resort and more like coming home. The resort itself has an intimate and exclusive feel, which really sets the Sanctuary apart. It is very laid back, which suits my wife and me just fine! The pool, surrounded by the Sanctuary rooms, is fantastic—relaxing, well-kept, and never overcrowded. The beach, like beaches everywhere in Cuba, is absolutely breathtaking. The Sanctuary beach is only a one-minute walk from the room, which makes it feel like your own private slice of paradise with all of your needs provided for by Carlos and Alex. The food was consistently good, with always-available options such as chicken, pork, and beef, alongside fresh Cuban fruits and vegetables. We never went hungry and always found something satisfying to enjoy. The level of care we received on both visits was exceptional. The staff consistently went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. The only minor downside was a lack of hot water in our building. It wasn't a massive issue for us personally, but we could see how it might affect others. This seemed more like a country-wide issue rather than something specific to the Sanctuary. Overall, we loved this visit even more than our last, which we didn't think was possible. We will absolutely be back, if for no other reason than to see the friends we’ve made here. I will mention one more time before I go that the people of Sanctuary make the experience amazing, and without them, it really wouldn't be the same. Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero holds a very special place in our hearts.

I return to visit this wonderful hotel where the beauty of the place is combined with the excellent service offered by its staff. Special mention for the butler Thalía, wonderful, the waitresses Yeidylén, Yania and Amparo, very friendly and the team of employees of the "Ave del Paraíso" restaurant made up of Yadira, Mildre, Arletis, Elianys, Deyvis, Antony and the cook María. In general, all the workers offer a quality service that creates the need to return to this place. Thank you so much

Yes Sanctuary remains the same, and that’s our whole point for going there. The pool is still the same. Kept in great shape by the great pool guy. The dining room food seems to be better since our last visit in the spring which was a bonus. Having table service is one of our requirements, but there is always buffets available in other sections of the resort. We went a couple of times and found the food to be good with a bigger selection. We have found the best thing about any Cuban resort is the people who work there. It’s nice to be well taken care off by all the Sanctuary bar staff and the waiters and waitresses from the dining room. Especially Yadira, Mildre, Arletis, and Elianys. See you all in the spring and try not to miss me and my coffee too much!!

Our stay at Sanctuary at Grand Memories was perfect! The staff were there to help with anything and everything! I’d like to thank Norvi who went out of this way to help set up two excellent trips exploring Cuba, as well as Noel who took every opportunity to make sure we were taken care of!
