I stayed 3 nights in the Hollis by Doubletree Hilton in Halifax NS downtown. The suites are amazing as they offer lots of space and are bright and cosy. Exceptional was the kindness of staff especially at the reception who helped me out finding my way through Halifax and its vicinity. Thanks for the maps and hints provided. One out of three days I took the breakfast (à la card) which was delicious I must admit. The location itself is perfectly located, close to the city center and next to the ferry connecting Halifax with Dartmouth. Every day I used the great gym which avails of a Peloton bike and hence ensures quite some fun. Excellent location I would love to visit again in the future??

Excellent one week stay here. All of the front desk staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our one bedroom suite was perfect. Location could not have been better!

A low budget hotel that was kidding itself. Air con hasnt been working for TWO YEARS. No cups, plates or forks or spoons or anything useful in the kitchen. We asked for some wine glasses and were told no. Staff were indifferent, at best. Everything about this hotel was crap. Above all, it was HOT. The best they could do was provide a noisy industrial fan. The Halifax Hilton managed to be both the most expensive and worst hotel we stayed in during a 6 week trip to Canada. Congralulations Hilton Halifax.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hollis for our anniversary. The room and the hotel were lovely and clean. We received excellent customer service especially from Manpreet at the front desk. She was helpful, knowledgable an so very pleasant, she made our trip go from a 8 to a 10!!!

Had a nice stay, worth money, although it seems a little outdated. We checked in late at night, deep at reception was friendly and almost all the staff are friendly. We found restaurant overpriced, and food somewhat mediocre.
