Starting out positive, location is easily within walking distance of harbor, maritime museum, public gardens, immigration museum, Citadel, governance house and others. Suite provided working/reading space aside from your bed and a hardback chair. Indoor pool and sauna, and room shower gives you volumes of water. However, in a misguided attempt to be modern, finding and figuring out light switches was a challenge. Main light over table never did work (even for staff). No breakfast, no newspaper. Biggest drawback in a self-styled luxury hotel - the room was connecting, so we had just the locked doors and no sound insulation, from those door. Also a increased security risk if you use personal digital devices so set your firewall and VPN.

Very good hotel. Check in was quick and the gentleman that helped us was fantastic. The welcome cookies were absolutely delicious. The room is modern, clean and spacious. We had a room with harbour view and it’s worth it, the view was beautiful. The location is also great, you can walk everywhere. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hollis is in a great location and a fine choice. Not to be deterred with the few things that could use updating—-our suite could have used updating in the living room area but bedroom huge, clean and a great bed. The Cannery, their restaurant was great for breakfast. The staff was so helpful and professional. We chose valet parking and while $35.00, worked out nicely. Would we return, absolutely.

Great hotel close and accessible to the downtown area. Staff was really accommodating and provided some good insider tips for the city. Our room faced the coastline and made for beautiful sunrises. The room had a spacious kitchenette which was perfect for making breakfast and sitting quietly before we began our day.

The location was absolutely excellent and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is somewhat dated and perhaps that’s the reason the air conditioning is not working properly. Pool area is rather dated as well. It is great value, but the air quality was a negative.
