Nice place. Just don't eat there.

Have stayed at this hotel several times. Great location. Large modern rooms. Stayed there last Sunday with friends. Problem I had was with the breakfast. Ordered bacon and scrambled eggs. They actually cooked the bacon and eggs mixed together. Now scrambled eggs cooks a lot quicker than bacon. The end result looked like a dogs dinner. Eggs were cooked but bacon almost raw. This after asking for it extra crispy lol. May have been a language barrier. Told waitress I couldn't eat that and you could get sick from eating undercooked pork. She offered to redo it but I told her I would just grab some toast and a boiled egg from buffet as my friends were already served theirs. (theirs were fine but only just) Peeled the hard boiled egg and tried to take a bite out of it. Tried. I couldn't because it was frozen solid. On the upside everyone had a good laugh. Would I stay there again. Yes. Would I eat there again. Never.

Meh - one king bed suite

The layout of the suite was nice and staff we encountered were nice. But the room was dirty! There was dust EVERYWHERE, the bed, couches, tables, floor was not swept. The curtain was ripped. The tissue in the tissue box was yellow (probably from it being old) It seemed like the room had not been cleaned right before we checked in. We woke up feeling sick and sneezing from how dusty the room was. We requested for the sheets to be changed at least but we were so tired that we didn’t want to have to request for the room to be cleaned , we shouldn’t have to ask, it should have been done before we checked in (especially since we were in the room the whole time). Digital key on phone had issues as well as the card key and we had to reset it. When my boyfriend reset the card key in the front desk, they said we had to do it every 4hrs? Breakfast we paid - $40 for two after tax, nothing impressive, it was okay.

The room was very nice but I wish I hadn’t use the hot tub or pool because I am now extremely sick and have a rash. DO NOT use pool or hot tub if you go here. There was Floaties in the hot tub and I noticed after about 15 minutes of relaxing in there. Definitely more than enough time for me to develop a sickness and a rash.

Service was okay. Cookies here were nice and warm. The room itself was a bit worn, and the furniture frayed at many places. There was dust along the corners and on walls. The room (1 bedroom suite) may have looked nice at one point, but not when we checked in. A touch up is needed. Breakfast was not bad, pretty standard and free for Gold Elite members. Biggest issue with the stay was that the AC did not work. This seems to be a recurring issue with the hotel. The June heat made it unbearable, and the room often reached 27-28 Celsius, and together with the humidity made it unbearable.

What we needed

Sis and I stayed for one night to meet up with family before flying back home. Hotel room (suite) was clean and tidy. Bar staff very nice and friendly. Bed comfortable and we both had a great sleep.Not sure it was worth the money we paid for such a short visit.
