Just love this hotel and location in Waikiki! It’s a beautiful hotel with good bones! Great place to base, to stay, to breakfast especially and to experience exceptional service!

Nancy is literally the nicest person in Hawaii. She works at the to to breakfast spot near the pool. So kind and on top of things. Great hotel. Location is fantastic. Highly reccommend

This historic hotel is probably top 3 in the nicest places I’ve ever stayed! I’m a Marriott loyalist and am so glad we were able to stay here. This resort is on the beach. Great for kids - totally swim able. It is a fantastic central Waikiki Beach location and just a beautiful resort. The staff were professional and friendly. We stayed in an ocean view room in the tower. Awesome! If you have Marriott loyalty benefits, the complimentary breakfast was just right in the Veranda restaurant. Continental or a hot breakfast or you can upgrade to the buffet. The banyan tree in the courtyard is beautiful. Highest praise from me on this resort. Well worth a visit!!

This was our first hotel on our Hawaii island hopping experience for our honeymoon. We arrived in the evening and disappointed to find our ocean view balcony doors locked. Due to part of the buildings balcony falling down, we later read in previous news articles and then told by staff, guests were not allowed access to the balcony. This was not explained when booking and we paid extra for this. We raised our concerns and were offered a different room, this room did have a great view but was unclean, carpets wet?, bathroom dirty. We were offered different rooms however each room was the same issues, we also had to spend our first night on your honeymoon in separate beds as they could only offer us twin rooms. The hotel lobby has windows boarded up with random papers, it needs some serious renovation. The breakfast was poor quality. The pool was tiny and dirty so nowhere to sit and enjoy the hotel. If you want to use the hotels beach chairs they cost $100 per day, but were also unavailable. The experience here was so poor we had to check out of the hotel after 1 night, which I have never had to do before, and book into another one last minute, rooms did not feel safe and so unkept. Please read the reviews for this hotel, as we didn't and put our trust into our travel agent, and book elsewhere. We had a wonderful experience at a different hotel.

We enjoyed excellent mixed drinks off the drink menu, as well as new concoctions mixed by Harry. The food was shared for a lite meal on the beach at the bar.
