Best Sports Viewing Experience in Vegas

SaltyForbes (Austin, Texas) on Feb 10, 2026

The hotel and restaurants have alot to be desired for improvement however the sports and amphitheater experience is perfection. Circa truly sets the bar for sports viewing in Las Vegas. The indoor sportsbook is massive, modern, and packed with screens, making it easy to follow multiple games at once. Seating is comfortable, the atmosphere is energetic. Stadium Swim takes it to another level. Watching games from the outdoor pool amphitheater is unforgettable. The huge screen, multiple pools, and lively crowd create a one of a kind experience. Whether you are in the water or lounging poolside, it feels like a stadium meets a pool party. Perfect for serious bettors and casual fans alike. Circa is a must visit for anyone who loves sports

The most disappointing hotel experience in the last 5 years

gayano4ka (Las Vegas, Nevada) on Jan 31, 2026

Where do I begin? First of all, I'm local. My wife & I love doing staycations to change up the scenery, get good room service, and rest up. My wife was the one who suggested Circa and I thought, sure, let's give it a try. When i booked the hotel, literally the next day I saw an offer from Aria for just $50 more per night. We've been there many times, we deicded to stick with our choice. Do I regret it now! Let's break it down, shall we? Parking: NOT free. Yes, even as a paying guest, even as a local, they charge you for parking. That was an unexpected "surprise" because I have never been charged for parking here in Vegas. Granted, we usually stay on the Strip. Once I'm Henderson, there's a good hotel there. Parking is always included for guests, that's just what you do! Parking fees are inexpensive ($25 self-parking, $20 valet), but it's not about the fees, but the fact that everyone provides parking and Circa chooses to nickel and dime you. Just FYI, this alone made aria offer basically the same price. Moving on... Check in: it was okay. Nothing extraordinary. They didn't offer to check in online nor were there any check in kiosks. We came in a little later, so the front desk was empty and checked us in quickly. The hotel at the first glance: Looked very nice. You can tell that everything is new. Nothing felt used up the way it always feels on the strip even in good hotels. Everything felt cleaner. The design of the hotel felt well thought out and felt modern although represented the 60s era. The room: was clean. At first it looked spotless. Again, this new(ish) hotel look and feel. It was great. Also I did very thorough research to ensure that the hotel didn't have any issues with any kinds of bugs. Not a single person even mentioned it on any platform, so I felt safe. Amenities: this is where it gets really really disappointing... TV: just a few channels. No streaming services at all, not even to mirror your phone. So if you want your hotel stay to be chill, you'll be sorely disappointed. They had the worst channel selection I've seen at the hotel. Just basic channels pretty much. There was an option to rent a movie, also an extremely small selection. Nothing looked good. Basically they cheaped out on everything they could. Provided you with the bare minimum. In my opinion, all they had to do is provide access to streaming apps. Problem would be solved. There's no coffee/tea. 2 tiny bottles of water are provided (1 pp) and you need to call the housekeeping whenever you need more. Ice machine is down the hall. AC/Heater: I really didn't like it. It's a digital screen that is always dark until you actually click a button (not anywhere on the screen to see current temperature or settings), but click a button which immediately activates the button you clicked. Despite the fact that you can set temperature, it doesn't stop when it reaches it. So you have to get up constantly and adjust the temperature or just turn it off. It's very inconvenient especially at night in the dark. "the concierge" - they call her Vickie and it's a big a** bulky Amazon Echo Show with a touch screen. In any hotel room I stayed in the last 5-6 years, using a tablet to access the hotel's information and services is completely normal. The tablets are normal size, light, you can carry them anywhere you want. Here's the kicker. Amazon echo show is not a tablet. It's big and bulky and heavy and it MUST BE plugged in at all times in order for it to work. The charger is very short, so you basically have to scrunch down in front of it, because it doesn't even reach your bed. Functionally is extremely limited. There's no actual phone in the room so you have to use Alexa to call the front desk or the housekeeping. It never once worked u til we activated it first by saying open circa app. If you need to call housekeeping, you need to open the app (it's not open at all times), then go to housekeeping tab, and then you'll be able to call housekeeping. So many extra steps, I'd rather use a phone and press 0. I honestly wouldn't even care so much if it wasnt so uncomfortable to use this Alexa. It was horrible. You constantly need to scrunch down. Who the hell came up with this idea?? Finally, the cherry on top, room service. Folks, this is by far, the worst room service I have ever had in my entire life. Not exaggerating a bit. You can only order from a diner called Saginaw's Delicatessen. The menu available to you from the room is like a fracture of the menu that's available if you go in person. Regardless of what you do, the food is very mediocre. Very mediocre. Limited options, seasoning is blend, everything feels and tasted greasy and cheap. We initially ordered breakfast: my wife got herself Eggs Benedict and I got myself a bagel with lox and latkes called "heavenly". Latkes were bland and greasy. Eggs Benedict had wierd seasoning that didn't belong there, and they didn't even give us ketchup for breakfast potatoes. My bagel was a step away from being burned. It wasn't chewy, it was overtoasted and hard. Veggies didn't have salt on them. And of course they didn't provide salt or pepper. Tomatoes were not fresh judging from their very wilted soggy look. Cucs looked better but were tasteless. We couldn't even eat this food. Later that night, we came back from the strip and really wanted chicken wings. We both could have swore that we saw chicken wings on the menu. Alas. Only buffalo chicken strips. I ordered them and they arrived so greasy. Do you know that feeling when food is being fried in old used oil? You can always tell when it's fresh oil and when it's old. This was without a doubt old oil, everything looked so bad. And on top of it, they brought them naked. I decided to al least try one strip, I was pretty desperate lol you know how it is when you have a craving... So I called them to ask about the buffalo sauce. I thought they'll cook me a fresh batch in buffalo sauce. Nope. They sent a dude with barely warmed up lukewarm buffalo sauce. Wow that was so bad.... And here's the most crucial part of all this. Not only this was the worst food I've had ata hotel labeled as "room service", but they bring it to you without any plates, with plastic silverware and 1 napkin a person, in a plastic bag. There's no tray, nothing to eat from, no seasoning, no condiments that every hotel provides when you order a room service. On top of it, there's a TINY round coffee table that barely fits one box. Two low so you constantly have to bend over it and since you have no plates you have to eat over a box. I'm honestly appalled at this... And they charge $55 per night in resort fees for so called amenities. Which ones? The pool? Well I didn't care about the pool, not everyone does... There are amenities. This hotel went out of its way to charge you for every little thing, but they don't provide squad. Aside from being aethetically pleasing (which right now works only because it's relatonew and not used up), this hotel made my stay uncomfortable and made me feel cheap. When I think staycation it's because I want to rest, be taken care, it's because I'm burned out and need a break. I don't imagine eating cheap greasy food without any flavor over a plastic box without a single condiment. I don't imagine constantly scrunching down and be uncomfortable every time I need water or some basic things. Or be bored out of my mind when I just wanted to Netflix and chill with my wife. Everything I experienced here left such a bitter taste that I felt it to be my obligation to share it with other people so they know what they're getting and so they can be as informed as possible when deciding whether or not they want to stay at this hotel.
