Great hotel and beautiful surroundings

NirvClub (Copenhagen, Denmark) on Oct 07, 2025

Using DVC Shop Rentals, I booked one night in a Deluxe Studio room for a much lower price than what it would have cost to book a room at the property via Disney directly. It's a beautiful property with great restaurants and bars, in a nice location fairly close to Magic Kingdom. Of course, staying at one of the deluxe Disney properties also includes various benefits, such as access to extended evening hours at the parks. The pools at the property are also very nice - although there's no bar right by the pools, but there is one within a fairly short walk. My room was fairly spacious, and included a kitchenette and a small patio on the ground floors with chairs. There was no separate shower though, only one of those "stand in the tub" kind of showers, which is disappointing for a deluxe resort. There was also a large TV with cable channels, various Disney content, and easy access to streaming services and casting via your own unit. There was also an Alexa-type device in the room. The hotel property itself is lovely - both inside and outside. I liked the rocking chairs in front of the fireplace. The hotel offers a boat service to Magic Kingdom, and a separate boat to the Contemporary Hotel and Fort Wilderness. I would not recommend using the boat to Magic Kingdom unless you have a lot of time on your hands. I spent well over an hour all together on the trip. First waiting a while for the boat to arrive, then waiting for people to get off the boat, and for new passengers to board, which also took a while. Then the boat, for some reason, went to Fort Wilderness to pick up more passengers, even though there was a separate boat also going to Fort Wilderness. Then we finally went to Magic Kingdom. It took way longer than it should have, given how close the hotel is to the park. Aside from the snafu with the boat, I had a great stay!

Good but stinky bathroom

731jeanettep (California City, California) on Aug 01, 2025

I like this resort. Theming is great. Room was pretty spacious. I don’t like that there is no table. Roaring Forks dinner options were pretty limited. Our bathroom had a terrible smell. I did tell the front desk. It was quiet.
