Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments will continue with the refurbishment of the property by completing the renovation of the third building which features 122 guest rooms this fall. The 231 guest room project (total of 3 towers) is expected to be completed by December 8, 2022. All services will still be provided and noise is to be expected . All efforts will be made to minimize impact to guests during this time.

Pros: location, wait staff, buffet excellent Cons: bed is super hard, I mean rock hard. Also had no water in the room for 2 evenings. Second time it went out I was in the middle of a shower. Pool sides are moldy and I got it on my swimsuit by leaning against it.
It’s an ok all inclusive resort.

Location, beach, and staff were great. Food was ok, so it made us want to explore restaurants outside the hotel which was great. Drinks at the hotel is very basic, no good cocktails. The hotel gave us only a bottle of water per person per day which was ridiculous since it’s an all inclusive. You could order glass of water or beer all day but they leave only a bottle of water in the hotel room per person and don’t give us more when we asked. So silly. The room was clean but needed some maintenance. The sink often clogged, toilet seat was not aligned, and the shower door never shut tight that we had to keep our foot at the door while showering. Lol I’d give 6/10 overall.
