Just returned Thursday from hotel been to Mexico and have never been this disappointed in any hotel , for start the hotel is very clean but dont expect to get the nice looking rooms you seen on the web site those or members only and membership can run 10,000 plus . The resort is small so not alot to do pools where so cold so swimming was not happening the beach was ok lots of seaweed and its about 1/4 mile to get to water that is over you knees . While relaxing by the pool there is no place to get a quik burger , fries or hotdog everywhere you ate you had to go in and sit and be wated on plus food was bad really bad first day we were there i had hamburger and spent the week with food poising did see house Dr which cost around 500 buy the time i got meds . Anyhow very disappointed .
Not 5*

We are seasoned travelers and have been to at least 25 all inclusive resorts. We had a nice week but it didn't live up to the glowing 5 star reviews. Upon arrival at the small check in area, we were not offered a welcome drink or towel. It isn't much of a lobby and not welcoming in any way. The grounds are beautiful and well kept as well as the beach. The main pool was another story. It is falling apart and was filthy for our entire stay. Not once did we see anyone clean it or test the water. Both pools are unheated and freezing cold. We stayed in a honeymoon suite to have a jacuzzi tub. Tried to use it once but the water just trickled out and took over an hour to fill. A huge disappointment and I didn't bother using it again. Our room was large and clean but nothing special. The food was good but not outstanding. We enjoyed the wine included and all other drinks we ordered. Reviews stated that it was a laid back and quiet resort. That is partly true. Mornings and evenings are quiet but afternoons at the main pool can get quite loud especially with those ridiculous foam parties. If you want to take an afternoon siesta, don't get a room anywhere near the pool. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. I liked the resort app to make our dinner reservations and order room service. However there wasn't enough information about daily activities or the lunches by the pool. We really enjoyed the Mexican fiesta on the beach. It was very well done and the buffet was great as well as the entertainment. The grounds, staff and beach is what we liked about this resort, however we wouldn't come again.
