Baggage
- Fees depend on your fare, destination, when you book, and when you pay.
- Fees are charged in CAD or USD, depending on where your trip starts
- For flights departing outside of Canada and U.S., fees are converted to the local currency
- GST applies to itineraries that start in Canada.
- If you are a WestJet Rewards member, your tier benefits apply instead of the bag fees shown by fare type.
- The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard‡ includes your first checked bag free when the card is used to book your flight.
- Bag benefits don’t combine. You’ll receive the highest single benefit that applies to your booking.
