Without a doubt this is one of the best all-inclusive hotels in which we have stayed. I cannot praise the staff enough, including the unsung heroes - gardeners, admin, cleaners - who made this such a special holiday. The menus were different on each of the fourteen days we spent there. The bar and waiting staff were genuinely interested in us as individuals, and the food was truly excellent; hot, imaginative and joyous. Having the coffee shop open all day was a bonus, and the cakes, pastries and cookies made for a light lunch if you didn't wish to go to the restaurant. The gardens were lush and beautifully maintained, the beach quiet and the sea calm and sublime. My one gripe: the website indicates a dresscode for men in the evening, yet so many decided that a t-shirt and flipflops were acceptable. Since they were never challenged it became the norm. Please, management, either gently enforce the code upon the guests' arrival, or scrap it. Thanks, Cocobay, for a memorable experience. We hope to come and see you again in the coming years.

My wife and I stayed for a week in December and enjoyed every minute. We had a waterfront cabin;it was furthest from centre and was quite quiet. The room was quite rustic which felt a good fit with the resort. The view of the bay was lovely and we spent more time than expected watching seabirds dive for fish. The pace of life in the resort was ideal for us. It was very relaxed and the routine with the food services worked for us. The food was excellent; the high quality regular offering meant we tried dishes we wouldn’t normally. Likewise the bar staff are excellent at suggesting drinks that are worth trying. The resort staff were excellent. Friendly, patient and helpful. This included helping us out when we were let down by an external tour company. We would happily return for a stay in future.

Totally amazing. The staff at Cocobay (particularly Alicia and Ariel) could not have been more kind and helpful when our travel company let us down. Everyone was so attentive and professional and cheerful. Just what you need on holiday. The room we had overlooking the bay was outstanding, and the hotel layout and facilities were superb. The food was fresh and delicious and although plentiful not overwhelming! Perfect holiday. Thank you Cocobay.

We’ve had the most incredible time here, I hardly know where to begin. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. The resort is beautiful, our room wasn’t huge but it was perfect for our needs (we had a plunge pool and deck area). The food was great, with different menus each day of the week. We had booked all inclusive, which meant total peace of mind. Apart from the breakfast/lunch/dinner meals, there was a coffee shop with sweet treats and fruit from 7am-7pm, and then 2 separate bars with food options at different times of day. We quickly became fans of the paninis, usually choosing that over the standard lunch offering. Friday night is Antigua night with authentic local food, with a steel band providing fabulous entertainment. In fact we had live music on many of the nights, including a jazz pianist and another night had live singers. The resort is beautifully maintained, with 2 lovely pools. There was never any issue getting a lounger and/or umbrella for shade. The beach is also literally minutes away, again with loungers easily available. Maybe it was the time of year, but it was never crowded, and often we had the pool to our self. Oh, and when on the beach, the fabulous resort staff would come round and take drinks orders and then bring them to you. Pure luxury! (Special mention to Norma who had some lovely goods for sale on the beach, great quality and good value for money. I bought a coverup which I wore almost every day, plus some souvenirs to take home.) I cannot forget to mention the staff. They were so friendly and kind. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and they really made the day special, with lots of extra little touches. They accommodated any food requests (due to allergies) without issue, and after we had been here a few days remembered what we needed without being prompted. We booked a few excursions, including a private taxi tour of the island and also a catamaran day trip. Both were arranged by the resort and were definitely worth the money. (Separate reviews will follow!) All in all, it’s been an amazing trip. I would recommend this resort in a heartbeat, and wouldn’t hesitate to return x
