Great location. A lot of staff available to assist you in room, in restaurant, at front desk, concierge, and bell hops. Rooms are quiet and the bed is superb.

My fiancè and I are getting married at the Fairmont in Banff Spring and need to meet with some vendors in Calgary for a couple days. Since we had points, we figured we would stay at the Fairmont in Calgary. Y'all let me tell you, we were blown away!We never expected to love this Fairmont as much as the one in Banff. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are so comfortable and clean! The hotel's proximity to everything in Calgary made it so easy to get everywhere we needed, most of the time without a car. The food and drinks were fantastic and we were even able to squeeze in a last minute spa session. The bar had live music in the evening and the vibe there was so fun. We ended up making friends with other guests at the hotel. Above all, we were most impressed with the customer service at this hotel. We have stayed at various luxury hotels around the world and I can count on my hand how many had as great of service as the Palliser. From the start of our trip we were treated both as royalty and as family. Every single person went above and beyond at this hotel. While Banff is beautiful, we honestly were sad to leave to go there because of how much we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We would love to send a special shout out to Richard, who worked at the concierge and car desk in the evening. He was SO helpful and wonderful. He truly made our trip! Without a doubt we will be back. We are already trying to fit in a stay here during our wedding because we had such a great time. I would highly recommend this hotel if looking for a hotel in Calgary.

In both of our two stays, we found the historic hotel to be exceptional. The feel is of comfortable luxury with engaged service. It has a fantastic location in the heart of Calgary and offers services one would expect of a grand hotel. Despite its age, the hotel is stylish and in great shape.

We had the best time here, everyone was the kindest, Neha, Vanessa and the whole crew where wonderful with the hospitality, the room was very pretty with a big bathroom, the bed very comfy and the building is wonderful and very well located. We went for n our honeymoon and I couldn’t think of a more romantic place.

We recently booked a staycation at the Fairmont Palliser for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 6 and 8). We loved the great location of the hotel-- walking distance to so many places downtown. The kids had a blast at the pool, and we all found our room very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic stay!
