A Cozumel Dream
Stephanie I on Jan 08, 2026
Our favorite place on Cozumel… the absolute BEST staff by far! Emmanuel at the pool is spectacular. He is attentive, kind and genuine. A true gem for sure. They are lucky to have him on staff. Victoria at Momo is a definite must see as well. She’s just so darn wonderful. Martha is a staple and you just feel like part of her family from the moment you meet her. David our concierge is top notch. The hotel is gorgeous and well maintained. Very central to town. The food is fresh, creative and always delicious. I would highly recommend staying at this palace priority. You won’t be disappointed.
Something (or Everything) for Everyone, with One Caveat

This was our first time at a Palace Resort--we (2 adults, and our three kids, ages 21, 20 and 20) chose it because we were interested in diving in Cozumel--and we loved the experience. The staff is extremely nice, attentive and professional (a huge shout out to Juan, at the main and pool bars, and to the diving crew), the restaurants are excellent, and the rooms are quite nice also. We stayed at a different all-inclusive for many, many years when our kids were much younger, and all of us concluded that the Palace does an excellent job catering to our current demographic--older kids/young adults and grown-ups. There is quite a wide variety of guest profiles (e.g., older couples, younger couples, no kids, some kids), with many/most of them happy Palace members, suggesting that there is something (or everything) for everyone there. Apart from all of that, I will say that the lounge chair availability for non-members (and/or lower status members?) is frustrating--90-100% of the chairs around the pool and in the front row facing the water are reserved for those with member status (those chairs also are the only ones receiving a.m. sunlight because of the shade from the building versus the rising sun). If you strategize early each a.m., you can sometimes semi-navigate the issue (that is, perhaps find a semi-decent lounge chair), but fighting that fight and feeling like a 2nd class citizen isn't a great way to start each day. Fortunately, as I say above, there's often a lot of upside from there!
