Stunning Hotel in perfect location

We are staying at the W on an extended family vacation. Pro’s - Stunning location along the beach - Lovely pool - staying in a 2-bedroom suite - absolutely spacious and perfect for families - Modern and bright - Friendly Staff Cons - No Kettle in the room

first time trying this place . Welcomed at front desk to be told main pool under construction . Shocked as to not be told before . Room has stocked frig but $8 for a coke . $9 for candy bar and $75 for half bottle wine .Seriousjy? Walk to CVS instead . Housekeeping was very good. . No door on bathroom cmon . With all great comments about beach service I was there a week. you get a towel in chair and water bottle period end of story . You are paying $60 a day resort fee for that . they had one guy for food or drinks . Took 90 minutes to get which is absurd. Weekend seemed worse Bring your own. Walked away to put on bathing suit and couple stole my chair and hat disappeared. Was shocked that Mario did nothing and sat me next to crying two year old as a solution. The beach folks are outside vendors could care less. I wrote the head of customer experience who sent a nice response and did nothing . That incident. cost them any future business from me .
