We basically flew to Honolulu to get a nonstop flight home to Chicago after visiting Maui and the Big Island. Our view was nothing: the building across the way. Some of the staff were helpful, some were not. Despite being Diamond members and HGV owners, you had to beg for bottled water at the front desk. Excellent location was a big plus, especially if you're a beachgoer.

Resort was too big- everything was spread out and walking was hard. Flagstones were used everywhere and many were warped or cracked. We saw many falls and talked to people who ended up renting a scooter to get around. Walkers didn’t work well because of the warped and broken flagstones. The resort just looked worn in general. Employees were nice though.

We are a family of four staying for seven nights. Well appointed apartment with free guest laundry on the same level which was so convenient (level 11). Overlooked “Gillian’s” wharf./jetty. Great coffee across the road (lapperts). A very pleasant stay

Location was perfect, make sure to choose a room with ocean view for best room choice, on fridays fireworks show on the beach which is great for families with children present during your stay. Amenities are nearby for food and drinks.

We booked a partial ocean view at the lagoon tower with photos only showing the lagoon view. Instead given room facing ilikai and marina. Very loud due to fountain from pool, not a pretty view. Kitchen tucked in corner, older. Manager was not helpful in resolving this, moved on day 3… new room was beautiful but lack of care of what was booked was not consider by hotel. Bell hops very rude, never experienced this. I would think twice before you book this property. Have been many times and will not book again.
