Loved everything

seeking_9 (Australia) on Jan 22, 2023

Loved everything. Amazing position. Kids liked the paddle boats in the lagoon, enjoyed the water slides. Room was spacious, clean, very comfortable. Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment in lagoon tower. Had a beautiful view of the ocean. We walked to main restaurants in Waikiki and Ala Moana. Highly recommend staying here! Only negative is pools are cold and spas were closed.

No need to leave

skiteau (Gold Coast Australia) on Jan 06, 2023

Loved staying here. We were there the week before Christmas and stayed for 4 nights. Check in was easy, our room was great (as was the view over Waikiki Beach. Everything is there - restaurants, bars, pools, lagoon, beach, pool/beach equipment, quick and pleasant walk to shopping centre and into Waikiki. Love the place. Just one thing. The lifts in the Rainbow Tower, (note sure about the other ones). You type in which floor on a panel and it tells you which lift to take. Great idea, except on the way down people would just hop on causing overcrowding and some issues. Just follow the system please! :) Hardly had to wait for any length of time with this system, except when a couple of lifts went down due to overcrowding! :(

Very beautiful complex of (I believe) a combination of eight hotels and timeshares. In it’s center is the Rainbow Bazaar that is a combination of shops and restaurants. The hotels are beautiful with several having an open lobby that lets in that wonderful Hawaiian ocean breeze. Our room overlooked the ocean and it was wonderful seeing the sunrise and looking at the ocean.

Don't Get Yourself Caught In a "Meeting"

isagfiredup (Waxhaw, North Carolina) on Oct 06, 2022

We were offered a vacation at this Resort in exchange for a simple "two-hour timeshare presentation" along with a $75 gift card and Hilton Honors award points. Accepting that offer was one of our biggest mistakes. We ended up speaking with many sales personnel for over 3 hours about the benefits of owning a timeshare. Much of which were lies, like having savings from "owning" our own vacation property, being able to refinance it, and the notion of our children inheriting it from us making it sound like a good investment. We're here to tell you that we do NOT truly own this property. Furthermore, no financial institution will refinance "mortgage" that's non-severable even though we pay real estate tax on it. We do NOT see any savings from vacationing this way. In fact, it's even more expensive than just staying at a hotel because you have annual maintenance fees. Our money is going to Hilton, and nothing is appreciating. Don't give into their scams no matter how great they make it sound. Also, this all took place in May 2018. I only put May 2022 because there was no option for earlier dates.

Large room but quite old

oliverwen23 (Boston, Massachusetts) on Sep 20, 2022

The room was spacious, but it was kind of old. We didn’t receive an upgrade as diamond member which was fine. The hotel is just so packed that It seems normal to hav certain perks ignored. The location was not ideal, but ok. One thing that I didn’t enjoy was the valet service which was a pain as you have to wait 15-45mins for your car. Besides that, there is a poke/milkshake place next to one of the hotel pool that was absolutely incredible (no line or waiting time normally and is definitely worth it!
