Great location

Great location and availability of anything you may need. The hotel was very nice, busy, but quiet at the same time. The bellmen were very attentive to our luggage needs.
Return guest - extremely disappointed

I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years and every time I return, service seems to decline more. I booked (and paid a premium for) a King Ocean Front stay and when I went to check in online it said King Waikiki city view, so I had to contact the hotel and they looked at my reservation and corrected it. When I arrived I was not in a real ocean "front" room, but rather an ocean view room. On top of that it's the 4th of July and they are doing work on both elevator banks, so the elevators which normally can take a long time are taking over 20 minutes in some cases and getting packed like sardines. They opened the service elevators to help but it's not helping. Breakfast at the Shor club was terrible, they continue to cut back. No soft drinks, no breakfast meat, just not what is supposed to be offered to a globalist in the World of Hyatt program. While everyone is nice, it's completely apparent owners and management are cutting back traditional services while continuing to raise prices. I am glad I maintain loyalty to multiple hotel chains because there really is no globalist benefit to staying at this property anymore.
