Great service, came for our honeymoon 25yrs ago and now……unbelievable experience…staff was GREAT! food, rooms, everything was clean and great. Activities at poolside were great…..front desk very helpful and available at all times, highly recommend
Our first Mexican experience

We went as a group of 6 adults and had a great time at Barcelo. We enjoyed the food, drinks and entertainment. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The sandy beach is spectacular with warm waters and big waves. Some snorkeling is possible by the reef. We went to Italian and Mexican a la carte, their food is amazing. It could be nice to have the lobby bar open all day so we don't need to run to the pool bar which is always busy. There is no bar at the beach so the drinking locations are limited.
