We booked a suite and the view was exceptional. Food is average, and unless you pay for overpriced prices wine selection is mediocre. "Smart" TVs are outdated, and internet service is unstable and poor.. Sofa in living room was old and hard as a rock. Balcony has a superview, however, hotter sold and outdated.
Perfect Family Getaway at Barcelo Huatulco

We recently stayed at Barcelo Huatulco with our four kids aged 8, 12, 15, and 16, and we had a wonderful time! The resort's food was amazing and offered something for everyone in our family. From diverse buffet options to delightful a la carte restaurants, every meal was a treat. Our kids especially loved the poolside activities and exploring the beach. Although the water was too rough to swim in front of the resort during our stay, we found calming waters just a short walk away. It was a quick taxi ride to town where we enjoyed the local markets, visited a beautiful church, and found great places to eat. We felt very safe and welcomed by the friendly locals. The staff at Barcelo Huatulco were incredibly nice, and the facilities were always clean. We highly recommend this resort and would definitely return for another family vacation.
