A week in paradise

This resort is amazing. The grounds and rooms are very clean and the staff is so friendly. Abraham and Bob (the Harris Hawk) are wonderful. Abraham always has time to talk to the guests and answer any and all questions about Bob and what his job is (keeping other birds away from the food areas). Monica - Duty Manager - is an absolute gem of a woman. Her smile is infectious and she is so helpful to anyone who asks her a question. Mariano Ramirez in the Japanese Restaurant gave us amazing service as did Carlos in the Italian Restaurant. The A La Carte Restaurants were delicious!!! Margarita Garcia at the pool is just a bundle of energy and her memory is spectacular. Herman at the lobby bar is - all I can say is "WOW"! He never stops working, even when interacting with the guests. I wish I had more names to provide but all of the staff that we had any interaction with were so friendly and so willing to give of their time. Definitely going to return.
Barcelo Huatulco Is Perfect For Us

The Barcelo Huatulco resort is a very well managed and high quality facility. The entire resort is spotless, the food is excellent, the staff are very friendly, the beach is beautiful, entertainment is special and the atmosphere is happy. As a couple, this was our first time here, and this resort checked every box. We loved the Thanksgiving dinner out on the open area and we met many special staff members like Herman at the lobby bar, Monica the duty manager, Marguerita Garcia at the pool and many others. Also, Abraham and "Bob" the harris hawk who works hard to keep the birds away from the open areas was a real hit. We were feeling right at home in paradise with so many great people and this is now our go to place in the future. See you soon.
