Maui is Magical!
Heather B on Oct 05, 2024
The Hyatt Maui is just lovely! The location is wonderful and in walking distance of Whalers Village for lots of shopping and dining options. The dining locations and options here are plentiful as well and all of the food is delicious!! I especially loved the Chia pudding at breakfast and the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese from Son'z Steakhouse!! The rooms are large and spacious with plenty of storage and very clean! I loved having a view of the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other! The pool is so fun and the kiddos will LOVE the splash pad and slide. There is great beach access as well! This resort would be perfect if you are traveling for business, with your family or even just as a couple!
A Hawaiian Experience Every Human Needs to Have

I stayed at this hotel for a very special event. Not only did I have the chance to enjoy the amenities before the event - the hospitality was by far exquisite! Even with the pool area under construction - the bar staff was very kind and helpful. The pool side had plenty of seating. My room was immaculate and the fact that I could by pass room cleaning for hotel points was an awesome program! Above all it was the intention and feeling of being a part of the Grand Hyatt Maui's Ohana that made this stay everything. I can not wait to return in 2025. This time I'll hang to see the luau and I will learn more about the sustainability program and I will definitely take the time to engage in the wellness program! Mahalo Grand Hyatt!
Great return visit to the Hyatt Regency Maui!

First visit since the remodel and very happy with it. Ocean view room is the way to go. Construction work was still underway, but we were made aware of it ahead of time and it was not too much of a bother. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the staff were very helpful. Location is wonderful; easy walking to many restaurants, pretty beaches and excursions, such as parasailing and sunset cruises. We loved getting coffee every morning at the hotel coffee shop. Breakfast was included in our package; however, would not pay for it if it wasn't included; we're just not big breakfast eaters. Food in Maui is very expensive and even more so at the hotel. A drink by the pool can be over $20. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the Hyatt.
The 20 year return

We recently returned to Hyatt Maui for our 20th wedding anniversary. We stayed here for our honeymoon so we were excited to go back. I think that the best part of our stay was mostly nostalgia. The Staff was pleasant, ocean view rooms are amazing, and the property is still very beautiful. Some disappointments: -The property is undergoing renovations -While the welcome/congratulatory champagne bottle is a nice thought, we are not champagne drinkers so it was a waste. Perhaps offer options, I would have much preferred a bottle of red wine. -The staff in pool area need to do a better job at making rounds. We had to go to bar to place an order because no one ever came to us. -Room service is now like Chinese take out, delivered in a bag. -My husband wanted to do something special for me for our anniversary and the concierge service did not timely respond. When he finally received a response the options were underwhelming - flowers, wine, chocolates type of thing. I am bummed that I had to question if we would return again or try a new property next time we are in Maui.

Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our entire stay. The breakfast buffet was the best food we had. We rented a car through the lobby and it was super easy and cheaper than expected. The world of Hyatt check in was really exceptional. Recommend
