Great Stay

Furrow31 (Edwardsville, Illinois) on Apr 27, 2024

I stayed here earlier this week and we had a great experience. Resorts World sits on the footprint of the old Stardust casino. The Conrad was clean and comfortable. I got upgraded to a room on the 36th floor overlooking the pool and south facing the strip. We had some room cleanliness issues but the hotel made things right. The bed was comfy and room size was large. (I’d have loved turndown service but it wasn’t a dealbreaker though.) The casino was never crowded and didn’t smell like smoke like some others did. I’m a Diamond member and we got a combined $50 for two of us at one of the restaurants on property. A frustration with the pool were the number of people who would leave and not throw their towels in the receptacle—nobody from the resort was going around pulling old towels off the lounge chairs, so we had trouble finding 2 together. It would also be nice if the hot tub was open after dark. Also, there’s a lounge on the 66th floor that we heard was good, but I didn’t bring long dress pants so we couldn’t get in (my problem, not the hotel’s). Other tips we would suggest would be to check out Circus Circus next door and their old-fashioned coin slots. Fontainbleau is across the street and if you sign up for their rewards program, you get $15 casino credit and $15 food & beverage (we recommend using it for a drink in their jazz lounge on the second floor). There’s a Walgreens and McDonald’s within close proximity of the hotel. The show “Awakening” at the Wynn is FANTASTIC. And the Golden Tiki lounge off the strip is worth an Uber ride over to. Fremont street is fun but the homeless and weed is out of control there.

Overcharging whenever there is an opportunity

Xiaozhe W on Apr 27, 2024

I had two reservations with Conrad Las Vegas. Both receipts are wrong, overcharging me around $500. Even after I corrected in the front desk, they actually still charged the wrong among from my credit card. I eventually found the mistake in my bank statement and then started infinite waiting on the customer service phone call...

Much Better than Expected--clean room and great service!

jcy385 (Toronto, Canada) on Apr 24, 2024

Just came back from a fabulous three-night stay. We had booked a flight/hotel package through Expedia a few months ago. I wanted to give this hotel 4.5 stars but there wasn't the option. I am docking half a star for the far location from the centre of the strip, lack of towel bars, and a visibly dirty robe in the closet. Checking in: When we arrived at the hotel at 12:30 pm on a Saturday, there was no one in line ahead of us. We were immediately checked in and were upgraded to a (limited) strip view on the 20th floor. Room: We got a king sized bed room. It wasn't luxurious, but it was clean, modern, and spacious, with plenty of spots to charge our devices. We were perfectly happy. The bathroom was very modern. The full sized shower had both a rain shower and a hand-held shower head; unfortunately, the water pressure from the rain shower was minimal and did not remove the suds from my hair. Amenities were full sized and attached to the counter and shower (soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel). Strangely, there was only one towel bar on the shower door, and two hooks on the bathroom door. There was no room to hang two bath towels, two face towels, a hand towel, and two bathrobes. As well, one of the two robes in the closet was dirty. There is a safe in a dresser drawer, and a small fridge for our use. Service: We opted not to have daily cleaning, by keeping the Do Not Disturb sign on the doorknob the entire time. A clean robe, new towels, tissues, and another body lotion (there wasn't much left in the bottle on the counter) were brought to us within a reasonable amount of time after each of the three times we called (twice we had a robo-receptionist, and once a live person). Hotel: Loved the refillable water stations everywhere. Walked to one of the two nearby Starbucks for coffee every morning. We had bought breakfast bars, sandwiches, and fruit for breakfast from the nearby Walgreens. We only ate at the food court for lunch once. Overpriced but the food was decent with generous portions. Pool: We could see the pools from our room. It was packed on Saturday and Sunday, so we went on Monday and Tuesday--super relaxing. Plenty of chairs and parasols. We also checked out the infinity pool; we found the music there way too loud, and looking at construction isn't an attractive view either. But it was cool to use that pool for several minutes, and it didn't cost extra. Location: This hotel is at the north end of the strip. We walked for about 80 minutes to get to Park MGM for a show one night. However, we had our running shoes on and it was super nice out. As long as we stopped every so often for water, it was actually a nice hike. That was the furthest south we went. On the other days, we only walked to Fontainebleau to the north, and Mirage to the south. Because of the far location, we won't stay here again and will opt for a hotel on the centre strip.

Very beautiful resort and casino. I had a very cozy room. It was quiet and clean. I couldnt ask for more. Service was also exceptionally great. I would go back any day. Also, the casino was beautiful. Very modern and well lighted. Parking was convenient.

Wifi does not work

Navinan R (Melbourne, Australia) on Apr 20, 2024

Decided to stay in this hotel as it was close to the convention center. Unfortunately Wifi is atrocious inside the room. Does notbfunction and feels like dial up speed. Do not rely on Wifi in your room if you need to work. Worse, I have dealt with front desk and technical support over 6 separate calls trying to resolve. They keep going in circles (very frustrating). Searching the reviews here, it looks like WiFi has had issues since 2021. High speed broadband in a 5 star hotel should be like running water. Fix it.
