Hotel Advisory: The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort will no longer accept cash at The Concierge and Front Desk.
The FORMULA 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is held annually during the third weekend of November.
Road closures, including Las Vegas Boulevard, Sands Avenue, Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Access by vehicle will be restricted during these times and increased travel times and delays may occur especially between the hours of 5pm – 2am.
Las Vegas Boulevard pedestrian walkways and bridges will be available around the clock.
During race times it is recommended to use these walkways and pedestrian bridges to travel within the resort corridor.
RIDESHARE / TAXI SERVICES If you arrive prior to Road Closure times (5 p.m.), rideshare and taxi services will be able to access the property as usual, but you should still allow more time to complete your trip. If you are arriving between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. on race days and using a rideshare or taxi service, you will be dropped off at the designated Hotel Shuttle Drop Off Area then transferred to your lodging property. If departing during race times via rideshare or taxi services, shuttles will be available on a limited basis to take you to the satellite rideshare and taxi service departure location.

Beautiful Hotel, Service Lacking

Recently stayed at the Palazzo for 4 nights in a Grand One Bedroom King Suite. We were originally booked for the same room at the Venetian, but received a call 3 days prior to arriving saying the Venetian was overbooked and we had to move to the Palazzo. They were very accommodating, waiving our resort fees and discounting the room rate! The room was amazing! We asked for a Sphere view, but were initially offered a room on the 6th floor. The desk clerk checking us in said let me see what I can do, and after about a five minute wait, said she got us a room on the 31st floor. With a great view of the Sphere! The room was clean, huge, and we tipped her well. We did have a couple of service issues during our stay. First, all the pillows in the suite were way too thick and firm, and my wife and I both had sore necks after the first night. Using the text link they supplied, I asked for thinner/softer pillows. Their response was, these are the standard pillows offered in the suites. Only after my reply of “Well, that’s helpful” did they offer feather pillows. They delivered two to our room and we slept great after that. On the morning of our last full day, we had a message on our room phone stating that they had detected smoking in our room the night before, and a $500 charge had been added to our account. Now my wife and I have never smoked anything in our lives, and I am very anti-smoking having lost both parents to smoking-related illnesses. I immediately went to the front desk to have the charge removed. The desk clerk couldn’t help, and I asked for a manager. He showed me some printout of a graph supposedly showing smoking detected in our room and said he didn’t have the authority to remove the charge. He told me they would review it and someone would call me later that day. Seven hours later, I got a call saying the charge would be removed, making it sound like they were doing us a favor! We loved the Palazzo hotel and casino, but would probably not return after the way we were treated when we had problems.

The Palazzo was an excellent location, walkable distance to the Sphere, our main purpose of our visit. The staff were all helpful, friendly and appeared excited to work there. They will courtesy check bags before or after check out to hold for last minute site seeing. The rooms were spacious, great water pressure in the shower and clean. There is no room in the fridge for any of your own food but is packed with chargeable refreshments including alcohol beverages. It is walkable to all places on the strip within two miles. The Uber ride to the airport and Fremont street experience was less than $20 one way. If I return to Vegas this is the place I'll choose to stay again.
