I chose to stay at The Palazzo because I wanted a room with a view of The Sphere. Here are some notes on my first stay at this resort. Booking :: I booked my room, online, directly with the resort. The process was easy and efficient. Thier system provided updates via email and text, in a manner I found appropriate. Check-in :: When we arrived, I opted for valet parking. A bellman was available to handle our luggage and deliver it to the room. Check-in at the front desk was courteous, fast and efficient. Valet :: I like the valet system they have here. The drop off system is convenient. There is a nice lounge where you can wait for your car. The valets are courteous. There are occasions when activity surges; but staff try to move quickly. Room Quality :: I was impressed. I am used to a room with approx. 500sqft. The room assigned to me was 720sqft. The room was also split level. As you enter the room, the bathroom suite is to one side; you come into the sleeping area; then there is a small step down into a living room area. The layout provides a sense of scale. Hotel rooms on The Strip see high turnover; but housekeeping is doing a very good job. The carpet was clean. The beds were comfortable; the sheets were clean, bright and crisp. I didn't see the typical "bumps and bruises" to the room's furniture you often see. The bathroom was large. There was a shower stall; bathtub; vanity with two sinks; and a make-up table. The water closet was separated from the rest of the bathroom suite. As mentioned, I booked a room seeking a view of The Sphere. The view was panoramic. To one side, I could see Harry Reid Intl Airport; to the other, I could see the golf course at the Wynn; in between, there was The Sphere; and in the distance, there were nice views of the mountains. General Facilities :: The shopping galleries in between The Palazzo and The Venetian provided a lot of opportunities to walk and window shop. There are a lot of bars and lounges. Gaming--there's plenty of that, if that's what you're looking for. Restaurants :: We dined at a number of restaurants within the resort complex. There are good choices if you do not want to leave the premises.

I have been Las Vegas couple of times for business travel and expereinced couple of hotels, Luxor, MGM, Mirage. The Palazzo is new for me and my family. We went to LV for fun and Palazzon did impress us! Please try this hotel, you will never regret to select it for the nice room, beautiful exterio and interio design, wonderful pool with warm water during the chilly weather. You can just stay in this hotel for days!
