A beautiful resort to relax and enjoy the aloha of the island. A bit pricey, but worth it because the staff is all about making your stay memorable and the resort is a little city all in itself.

We just returned from a dream vacation at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. Yes, the property is stunning - the pools are unbelievable and a major part of why we stayed here (and why we'll return)! But the real delight was the staff - everyone we encountered, from prior to arrival through the entire stay - front desk, housekeeping, spa, restaurant, servers - everyone went out of their way to provide incredible service. They found ways to accommodate every need and request, and truly made the stay magical. Yes, the hotel could stand a little cosmetic updating with some of the room design...but everything felt immaculately clean and comfortable, which is most important for me. And again, the grounds are just incredible - you have everything you could possibly need and still explore new elements every single day. Thank you to the people who made our stay so magical...can't wait to get back! Mahalo. Don't hesitate to book a dream stay at this incredible resort - you won't be disappointed.

My only complaint is how hard it is to leave! Truly the most romantic and relaxing resort you’ll ever stay at. It’s our absolute favorite in all of Hawaii.

We had such a wonderful experience with Pacific Dream Photography! Our photographer, Maddie, was absolutely fantastic. She made the entire session feel relaxed, easy, and genuinely fun. Maddie has a great eye for natural, flattering shots and knew exactly how to guide us without anything feeling posed or stiff. She was warm, professional, and so kind. The photos turned out beautifully—bright, natural, and full of the feeling of our trip. Truly memories we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommend requesting Maddie if you can—she’s incredible!

Our first stay dates back to 2009. Since then, the hotel has lost some of its attractiveness through aging but still is a dream come true. The pools cannot be beaten and offer fun to all water enthusiasts from kids to serious swimmers. Breakfast is gorgeous and the location unbeatable. When we were there construction and refurbishing were ongoing and disturbing.
