Please note the following renovation schedule for Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos for 2024 and 2025. Construction work will only take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the following dates:
· April 20 –October 12, 2024: Construction is taking place on a new Fitness Center and no disruption is anticipated for guests as the old fitness center will remain open for use.
· May 23 – September 28, 2024: Cortez restaurant will be closed, and noise and dust should be expected.
· May 23 – September 30, 2024: The Business Center in the lobby will be open but guests can expect noise and dust (from 9AM to 6PM) as a new Business Center and Lobby Bar are being built within the main lobby.
· May 23, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Tower B will be completely closed as 232 rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated. Although these rooms are out of inventory, we expect heavy noise in the first nine weeks.
· May 23, 2024 – December 20, 2024: The Water Park will be closed.
· May 27 – October 29, 2024: The port cochere (covered entrance) will be upgraded and noise and dust should be expected.
· September 3 - February 22, 2025: The convention center foyer will be expanded and there will be dust and noise. Events and weddings are being rescheduled but leisure guests should not be affected. Breakout rooms will be closed on specific dates during this time.
· June 1 – December 15, 2024: Pool snack bar Coco Loco will be under construction. Noise and dust are expected but snacks and drinks will still be offered poolside.
· June 1 – December 15, 2024: While Zaffiro—the Italian restaurant—will be closed. Italian cuisine will be available at the Cortez restaurant during this time.
· June 4 – November 30, 2024: A new Wedding Showroom is being built.
· June 10 – December 12, 2024: The Teen Club will be expanded and it will be closed for guests. Entertainment for all ages will be available around the main pool.
· June 10 – December 15, 2024: The Kidz Club will be renovated and a temporary KidZ Club will open in a meeting room and children’s programming will still be offered during this time.
· July 8 – November 22, 2024: Preferred Check-In is closed for renovations and available at the front desk.
· July 22 – December 14, 2024: A new Indian dining outlet is being built in the lobby bar area and noise and dust is to be expected.
It’s important to note that these areas listed above will be operating as usual outside of the timeframe listed and will not affect all guests. Please note there will be work within the hotel’s lobby. Dates and plans are subject to change, the hotel staff are working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.

My husband, our five year old daughter and I went to the Hyatt Ziva in August 2024 for a few very relaxing days. We had a wonderful time and would return without any hesitation. The bell boy Mauricio was so welcoming and nice when we arrived and he remembered my daughter's name every time he saw us which is pretty remarkable given the size of the resort and that we were only there for a few days. Our five year old absolutely loved the kids club which was amazing because she is normally pretty shy. I have to give a shout out to Kitxia, Perla, Melissa and Mario (who is also an amazing entertainer) who are naturals with children and made our daughter so comfortable from the second we met them. We actually say Kitxia the first day when we ran to the grocery store and she already knew and remembered my daughter's name. These are very special people. Cinthia taught a great yoga class and Adrian was our very helpful concierge while we were there. We just had such an amazing time that we would go back in a heart beat. The only two drawbacks are that there is pretty extensive construction so the lobby and one of the buildings was mostly out of commission and during 9-5 you could hear construction noise at the pool. You could not hear it in our room and it was pretty predictable timing wise so you could plan around it. It was pretty empty while we were there so there would be only one specialty restaurant open per night but it was always a mystery (at least to us) which one would be open. We liked the Asian restaurant the most.

Excellent vacation for my wife and I !! The entire vacation experience from the moment we arrived to the day checked out was absolutely wonderful. Everything from the Service from EACH and EVERY staff at the resort to the Room , to the location, property, the pools, the beach and especially the Food & Drinks .. everything was just perfect !!! I would highly recommend the Hyatt Ziva for a great relaxing All Inclusive vacation choice.. Even with the renovations taking place , we had a wonderful time and looking forward to the exciting changes and updates coming to the Hyatt Ziva !!
